Sneaky fun course...if you have a Guide
Pros: -Mountain disc golf. Lots of elevation change, obstacles and great scenery.
-Playable 7 days a week dusk til dawn for free.
-Good mix of short/easy holes and longer/more difficult holes.

Cons: -Only open a few months a year.
-Long grass and trees can make locating errant discs frustrating.
-No on-site parking.
-Tough to follow without guide.

Other Thoughts: Bachelor Gulch's course is a hidden gem for disc golfers in the Vail/Beaver Creek area.
If you have the oppurtunity to learn the ins and outs of this course you will really enjoy it, but if you are in town and have a few hours to kill, I would not recommend it.
With a guide this is a 3+ star course easily, but because of some significant setbacks (tough course navigation, dense rough and the fact that the course is relatively hidden) I can not rate it as a "better than good" course.
Find a guide on DGCR for this course and you will not be disappointed!

Pros: -Beaver Creek is a beautiful setting to have a course.
-Hiking across the ski slopes makes for some good exercise.
-Many of the holes make interesting use of terrain change, interesting uphill and downhill holes.

Cons: -No real tees, most drives are from uneven dirt patches and several butt up against a cliff (bad if you tend to overrun the tee).
-Baskets aren't great.
-Baskets can be difficult to locate from the tee, even with the map.
-Many of the holes are really short. No signage indicating distance, but the front 9 had several holes that were <200.
-Lots of tall weeds and brush made it really hard to find discs, even when I saw right where it came down.

Other Thoughts: Managed to lose 2 discs on this course because the uneven tees made it really hard to accurately place drives and the amount of brush made looking for them really difficult.
Make sure you grab a map from the Ritz Carlton. Even with the map, it sometimes took a bit of looking around to try to figure out where tees/baskets were.
