best 9 hole course i have played
Pros: great layout.very challenging and really fun shots.when i played this course no one was there just me and my chick.best 9 hole course i have ever played.very easy to find your way around the course.will play this course any chance i get.
Cons: dirt tee pads make it difficult to get a run up start.a few of the top of the world holes dont have a very big tee pad and its best to stand still and throw.if you try to run up you might slip and fall down the hill.didnt see any bathrooms.but stores and food across the street.
Other Thoughts: would be great if they put in rubber tee pads.if they did it would make this course a 5 in my opinion.but even with the dirt tee pads still one of the best courses i have played.if your in the lauglin/havasu/needles area this course is a must play.i drove from havasu just to play it and it was well worth it.

Surprise in the desert
Pros: Only course in the area.
Top of the world shots are fun
Cons: Tee pads are natural which makes for bad footing and awkward drives
Climbing to some of the tees is sketchy and could be dangerous if not paying attention
Other Thoughts: Very pleasantly surprised by this course. Made a detour on my way back from Las Vegas and thought I would give this a shot. Fix the tee pads and the course would improve greatly.

Fun, Challenging 9 Holes
Pros: -Well-designed and thought-out holes, with difficult pin placements. No two holes play alike, several options to get to each pin
-Several "bomber"- type holes, probably close to 500' to air out the driver; three holes drive from the tops of hills down into the valley for some exhilarating shots
-Multiple tee locations, I counted three on at least a couple of the holes
-Well-marked, great flow. Never got lost or confused. Concrete arrows indicate paths to red or yellow tees. Designers dug paths up the hills for golfers to get to the hard-to-reach tees. Pins are marked with bright orange stickers with the hole number to eliminate confusion
-Disc-golf exclusive. Aside from the one hole that skirts the parking lot and hole 8 which tees off next to the nature trail, absolutely no chance of hitting anyone.
-Brand-new course with very little traffic. Take advantage while it lasts!
-Several "blind" holes hide the pins behind hills and tuck them onto the backsides of slips.
Overall, I really got the feel that the designers put a lot of thought and passion into their work. Used the available cover very well. Plays to all types of shots, right-left handed, and always has you guessing at which shot will be best. Not many courses make me grin when I come up to the tee pad and see the challenge laid out - this one did several times.
Cons: -Dirt tee-pads
-No tee signs yet (Robert Pine, the designer, informed me that they would be installed in a couple of weeks.)
-Heat. Bring water. I played at 7 AM on a Sunday and was dripping with sweat by 8. Not that the designers can do anything about that!
-Not for families - leave the kiddies at home. You will be climbing steep inclines to get to some of the tees and pins.
-Only nine holes
Other Thoughts: Hole Rundown
Note: footages are estimates, signs are not up yet
1: 250-300' simple hole skirting the OB parking lot, keep it to the left or you'll get a penalty
2: 250-300', straight hole, pin elevated 15' on top of mound, tough approach, little margin for error on putting
3. 200', tees off in valley straight up to top of a hill, again tough putting
4. 400', throws from top of hill into valley
5. 300', tee off in valley around bend to the left, pin is on side of a hill
6. 500' "bomber" hole down into valley from high tee pad
7. 300' straight drive to tee on a slope, hill provides backdrop to the approach shot
8. 300' drive from top of hill to pin hidden at bottom of foothill
9. 500' drive from tee pad back to parking lot
