All Risk, No Reward
Pros: - Great baskets, didn't even know that they were homemade at first.
- Good, well sized teepads.
- Good, well sized teepads.
Cons: - FULL of poison ivy.
- Way to many trees in the fairways. Rather than being beautifully and strategically placed in the fairway, it seems like the designer just cleared out the underbrush and didn't cut out any trees. On one of the holes we actually drove to the wrong hole because of such a lack of a fairway. On several of the holes it felt just like you had to throw and hope it didn't hit a tree rather than choosing a line and trying to make a good throw.
- Lack of signage made it difficult to know where to play for the first time on the course.
- Very unbalanced risk / reward. It felt like this course was all risk with no chance for reward, no matter how you played it.

Other Thoughts: With some maintenance and thoughtful tree removal, this could be a decent nine hole course. However, as it is now, this course is very problematic and not a terribly fun course to play. If you're in Upper Sandusky I would recommend that you play the reservoir course instead.

Pros: very fun technical course, most holes arent too long but require a lot of finesse. there are a few birdieable holes and even a few that could be aced. this course is still under construction but with a little time and effort it could be an excellent course.
Cons: Parking lot to tee 1 is kind of a long walk
heavy woods and alot of brush
low spots that collect water
mosquitos!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: played this course only once so far but i plan to get back to get this one in. When i played it, I had went to upper for there sunday league and the original course was flooded so league was moved to mossy oaks. Since the original course was flooded, this course was soaking wet with a good amount of standing water but we managed. At the time most of the tees were framed and ready to be poured, i would imagine by now they likely have cement tees. Also i hear that there is serious consideration to making this a full 18. I'll definatly be back to get my butt kicked by this course again
