Pros: -Tees are marked and the natural tees are adequate for the distance and power needed on a course of this length
-Nice Innova Baskets
-Good amount of trees for a beginner to intermediate course. Also a creek that could come into play.
-Good variation of length, some ace runs and some bomber holes. No holes too easy or too hard.
-Hole 4 was quite challenging with a mess of trees between the tee and basket and the little creek running along the left side of the fairway.
-Good flow, easy to navigate
-Won't lose a disc here.
-Good to teach beginners the game without making it too easy
-The little bits of elevation made some of the shorter easier holes a bit harder and more fun.
Cons: -Natural tees, they work just fine but concrete tees are always a plus
-No signage other than a hole number. It was easy enough to navigate but I like a distance too.
-There were a few other park users out and about that you might have to watch out for. Not a real problem tho.
-This course is definitely designed to challenge the beginning player without making him too frustrated. It would be ideal for a lower intermediate player. If you are a pro you probably won't have too much fun here.
Other Thoughts: This is the better of the two courses in the area. I had fun here with a bit of challenge for a city park 9 hole. I would stop by if you are in the area or are planning a road trip through this part of the state but don't travel too far to get here. It is a city park course after all.
