Practice Basket in a small park 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 7, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

1) It is a basket in a public park. great exposure in a hotbed for disc golf.

2) Plenty of lanes to throw from if the park is empty.

3) You can even stretch out on a few of the drives if you head down to Calumet Street and throw from the south end of the park.

Cons:

1) Small park could lead to dangerous safari holes, but if all you want to do is practice putting well this is your place even on a busy day.

Other Thoughts:

Not much more needs to be said. It is a basket int he middle of a park. It has some trees to create some obstacles and the ability to stretch out the safari holes to around 275-300' if noone is around. Please be conscious of the othe rpakr users however and only throw long drives if NOONE is around.

Is this a 1 disc rated course NO, it is a 1 disc rated practice area. Why? Because there are all sorts of ways you can throw at this basket. Would I come back here if I lived in the area, sure if the courses were packed. Keep in mind my rating is defined as the likelihood that I would return.
