Pros: Brand new course on school property that is in excellent shape. The teesigns are very well done, solid steel that will last forever, though they do lack distances on them. There are no teepads to speak of, just tee off right next to the signs. The ground is fairly smooth and flat there. The baskets are in great shape. Easy parking at the school. Great views of the surrounding mountains. Just take a minute to take in the sights.
Cons: Not quite sure what the objective of the course is. The distances are very long for a beginner, thus new players might get frustrated here. I think on hole 4 there is a small line of trees to shoot through, other then that it is completely wide open and a straight shot to the basket is all you need. Therefore there is no excitement for a beginner or a more experienced player.
Other Thoughts: A good place to try out your new long distance driver on. Keep in mind the holes are straight, the ground is flat and the excitement is pretty darn low. Or you could just use it as a place to practice putting on as the baskets are new and doubt if they see much use at all.

Pros: This course is on the grounds of a fairly new school. It is quite different from the other course in town. There is plenty of space to practice your drives. There are tee post installed now that are cut out of metal. They seem to be made to last. It was nice to see the community involvement in the course.
Cons: There are a couple of holes that have you throwing over a street or near a parking lot. Another couple cut across ball fields. They may not be available to play at certain times. Basket 9 has a surprise water treatment plant that can come into play on a windy day.
Other Thoughts: I prefer a few more trees. Perhaps as this course develops they will be able to add more trees on the course to make it more interesting.
