Pros: This is one of my favorite courses to play on. The first five holes will either make you or break you. The course runs with the stream pretty nicely on the first couple. Two is one of my favorite holes is you have a straight shot. Hole #6 is a long hole that stretches across a field entering back in the woods. Hole #7 is my favorite hole but can be a disaster if you hit any of the closer in trees or release to high. The next three pretty difficult but definitely manageable. Hole 12 shoots across another field and over an old volleyball court. Hole 14 is killer unless you can really rip into a deep shot. 15 is also dry difficult but the 2 following are relatively easy.
Cons: It is a difficult course. Very minor things that have been resolved. On some holes it is very easy to lose sight of your disc and lose it. The water hazard is usually shallow but can get annoying if it just raine

Pros: This course is awesome! I go to church here and helped clear out some of the trees(hard to believe we cleared out so much and its still so tight Haha) I live in 5 minutes walking distance of this course and play all the time! Great variety of uphill and downhill shots as well as different distance changes and some accuracy holes.Really helps you learn how to play discgolf. played my first round of discgolf here and scored 28 over par now I'm scoring even!
Cons: The grass is kind of high every now and then. Hole 10 and 17 have some disc blackholes, luckily I've only lost 1 but I've found quite a bit Haha, there patches of burs on some holes
Other Thoughts: Great course, if you love discgolf you'll love this course

Pros: It's nice to have a course in South Dallas with such diversity. Long holes for the big arms to air it out and short technical holes for those whose game favors the tighter, more accurate types of holes. Living so close to the course, I have played it well over 20 times. I can say that I have literally used every shot in my bag on this course. From hyzers to anhyzers, tomahawks to thumbers, spike hyzers, flicks, rollers, and even an occasional grenade. Love the tee boxes. At first they were a little short for some of the longer holes but they have come back and compensated for this by extending the boxes with pavers thus giving plenty of room for run ups. Signage is great as they have just recently put in permanent signs that are nice and big with all the details of the hole including distance and direction of the next tee. Elevation change is epic with the course playing up and down on multiple holes.

I have a love/hate relationship with the first four holes. I really love the way that they are designed and the way that they play. However, I hate the way that my score looks most of the time :o). But that is what keeps me coming back for more. The green on hole 6 is beautiful and I love playing it. You will need a finesse shot to get it on the landing without going long and down the hill behind it. Hole 7 is soooo sick! The basket position is just begging you for an ace. Also, I really enjoy holes 14 and 15 because of their length and the fact that even though they run parallel to each other they play completely different. 14 is a wide open shot from the top of a hill with about 40' of elevation change and trees and asphalt on the right that are both O.B. and baseball field fence that everyone tries to throw over at about 550'. It is definitely possible to get a three here but a bad drive can push you up to a five real quick. 15 (as we call it at the roads "the Green Mile") plays just on the other side of the road back up the hill and through a 50' - 60' wide tunnel. It opens up with around 250' left but has a guarded basket. I have never seen anyone get a three here but fours are possible and fives are still a great score. This is a par five hole and make no mistake, unless you have two great shots back to back, you will not get a four. Play your buzzz or you favorite mid range for your fist 2 shots and you have a very good chance at 3ing the hole! But it will at times feel as if your walking to your exicution! Hole 16 is probably the hole that I give the most improved award to. When I first started playing the course, it was my nemesis and by far my least favorite. It was too tight with too many trees to get around and no definitive landing spot. However, great effort has been taken to widen the fairway and even the final approach to the basket, which before was virtually impossible to reach in 3. This hole is now one of my faves! Play it and you will see why. EPIC!!
Cons: Hole 2 could probably have a little more protection to the right of the basket. Disc come flying by you occasionally from golfers throwing from hole 4. Hole 10 could use at least a 10 ft ceilling as you get 3/4 of the way to the basket but that's majoring in the minors not a big concern. A 3 is very possible
Other Thoughts: This course has the potential to being one of the best courses to play in the country! It has been beaten down so much, you owe it to yourself to come out and play it where ever you live. Play this course a few times and you will love it! It will eat your lunch at times but this is a course that leaves you wanting to come back for more because at the end of the day you know you can shoot better! One day you may be -1 and the next your 9+. Perhaps alternate pin placements in the future would be a nice addition. However, the current positions are really cool. This is definitely not a beginner course although there are holes that are beginner friendly. If you are wanting to expand your shot arsenal or just play a challenging but fun course then come on out and that's what keeps me coming back for more. This is by no means a" pitch and putt" course. -NDLB

Pros: This course is awesome!! There is a wide variety of shots that provide lots of skill to get par. There are long open shots, short tight shots, long tight shots, hyzers, annys.. you name it! Great brand new tee-pads are in great shape. The first few holes of the course uses the stream wonderfully. There are trash cans at every hole, and some of the holes have a very interesting "urban" feel (being right next to the building or streets).
Cons: This course is new so navigation is kind of rough. Getting lost isn't really an issue just read the signage, but be careful where you put your foot, and you might want to wear jeans or tall socks.
Other Thoughts: Sean is the youth pastor at the church, and he is in the process of fine tuning things (building bridges, pathways etc.) If you play you'll probly see him out there working. Stop by and let him now how much you appreciate this jewel of a course
