Pros: Bathroom located by Hole 9 & 18.

Beginner friendly, tough to lose a disc here and almost no shule, nice and short for beginners.

Tee signs on every hole (orange posts, most with the number on). Not too difficult to navigate.

If you like shooting lots of 2's this course is for you.

A decent amount of OB in the form of roads gives a little challenge here and there.
Cons: Tee signs are not "excellent" they are only small orange posts, with no distances.

A lot of tee boxes are placed where shots from other holes could easily land, not that this course would ever be crowded though.

A lot of backtracking to get to a few holes, sometimes it's easier to throw a hole and walk to the right 50 feet and throw the next hole which is almost the same distance and same direction, then putt out on both holes and move on to the next one.

All the holes are short, most are just straight ahead, with very little variety..I didn't see much "diversity". Hole 18 is the only one that might be almost 300 feet.

No distances on the tee signs, no map posted.

Very long walk from Hole 18's basket back to Hole 1. Better off parking by Hole 6's tee than by one to cut down on the walk.

Not much imagination in the course design at all. Straight shot after straight shot after straight shot.
Other Thoughts: Hole 1 is by the alligator pen. The only benches on the course are picnic tables in a couple of the fairways. There aren't any dog-legs and water only comes into play on two holes, and on both these holes you have to throw about 50 feet past the basket to get wet.

Again, this course is great for beginners and those who like easy courses. Those who like a challenge will be bored.

An awesome experience

Pros: Excellent camping as the course is at a MS state park. Alligators to check out. Feeding and demo stand right by first hole. Friendly rangers to help with directions. Excellent signage. Great diversity. Lots of shade.
Cons: Location. Kinda got to be there to play there. I was in town on business so I stopped by.
Other Thoughts: Totally enjoyed this course. Strait shots, short and long. Left curves, right curves, dog-legs, water obstacles. Did I mention Alligators? Check out the course map with "alligator pond" in the course...huh? How cool is that? If you are going thru this neck of the Delta...PLAY IT! No one around, full park staff, water, benches, trash cans...very cool.
