Great mid-range practice
Played: 15 Reviewed: 9 Exp: 1.1 Years
Pros: Great practice for mid-range shots, and placement throws. sweet local spot for people to learn the game. No crowds. Great use of available obstacles/terrain.
Cons: short, think 15 minutes to play the 9. No distance, anything over a mid-range is overkill. Out of the way unless you live or work in the area. The course moves counterclockwise so it is prejudicial for RHBH throwers.
Other Thoughts: Small, seasonal, local 9 hole. Check it out if you are in the area, but not a road-trip destination by any means. There is a playground and two ball softball fields so be careful of other park users, especially children, nobody seems to notice that there are baskets and/or flying plastic.
Nice Neighborhood Course
Pros: These are good quality baskets and tee signs in a small well maintained community park. The course does what it can with very limited terrain.
If you live nearby: nice for keeping the rust off your game in the winter and introducing new people to the game.
If you live nearby: nice for keeping the rust off your game in the winter and introducing new people to the game.
Cons: Flat. Mostly short. Mostly obstacle free.
Other Thoughts: Not really worth making a special trip to play (unless you are a completist).
Pros: This is a good beginners course. It is very forgiving with almost no obstacles at all. If you are just starting out you will not have to worry about losing any discs here. It is also nice for anyone who lives in Meridian to have a course near home. A good easy practice course.
Cons: If you have played much disc golf it might be boring for you. Most of the holes are pretty short and like I said before there are hardly any obstacles.
