Kids,Family & true newbie fun.
Pros: Newest Discatchers with 3 sets of chains. Tee signs with needed info. Good variety of hole distance. Trees have been planted.
Cons: Flat & Open. Plays along the gravel path on all but 2 holes. Tee signs are made of "plastic cardboard", with no frame. I hope they last. #5 plays OVER a corner of the path AND a runners streching station. The young trees are a bit of a factor on 2 holes.
Other Thoughts: #1 tees from behind the main entrance sign, throwing south to just south if the gravel path. #2 is to the right, and has a cluster of trees around the target. #3,4 are both short and open. With the gravel path on the left and a country road on the right.#5 plays over a corner of the path AND a runners streching station? A 200' walk to #6? #7 is the longest with the fairway pointing away from the path. #8 is the shortest hole at just under 150'. With the path cutting right through the "fairway". The basket is behind a cluster of small trees. #9 is wide open with a baseball field to the left, far enough away not to be a factor. From I-465 and Brookville Rd. It took me 10 minutes to get to the park. A round will take less than 30 minutes. A good course for kids, families and true newbies. More experienced players could play a safari round to work on their drives. No blind shots, So the path won't be that big of a factor.
