Pros: Excellent course. Huge variety in shots, beautiful scenery, and pretty much everything you could ask for in a disc golf course.
Cons: $5 car entry and $2 charge per disc golfer. Extremely busy!
Other Thoughts: If I didn't get a scorecard from the guy charging admission, I would not have known were most of the baskets were without having to scout ahead. Getting the scorecard was a big help as it had maps of all the holes on it.

 Great Place!

Pros: Very nicely laid out course. A lot of variety. A ton of distance. Now with 27 holes!!
Cons: I really don't think there is much wrong with this course.
Other Thoughts: This course is even better with the new layout!! Concrete teepads all around. Course conditions are almost always perfect. I don't care that it's pay to play since the conditions are so good.

Pros: clean and well maintained. big course. 24 holes. hole 24 is ridiculous but that why i love it. good variety. Score card and pencils, Map on score card. tees markings. fairways are big enough so you dont have to spend all day looking for your disc
Cons: no longer free plus parking. no big elevation changes a few time its not spread out enough but not to bad
Other Thoughts: a must play that is great for someone who doesnt know the course because of the map on the score cards

Pros: This course is really fun to play and learn the game. You get a real 24 hole course that is tough to break even par. Concrete pads and Chainstar baskets are in great shape. The holes flow very well to the next tee as well. You get a chance to air it out with most holes 300+ feet away. There is also an even mix of open, woody, and hilly holes to try out every shot you got. Worth the $2 to play. They've been making improvements to the course which will make it even better.
Cons: Sometimes this course gets crowded and you got to wait on a few groups. Punks with nothing better to do like to hang there and destroy tee signs, trees, garbage cans and picnic tables. It is pretty sad how they trash the place. Hopefully the pay to play fee drives them outta there.

The tee signs are below average but that probably has to do with the idiots who keep pulling them out. First timers should grab a scorecard map by the parking lot to find the baskets that are far and unseeable from the tee.

Not much else to really complain about here.

Other Thoughts: The first 4 holes give you a chance to warm up and blast them down there 300+ feet with only a few trees to avoid.

The next nine takes you through the woods where it gets a little tight and you need to be accurate or end up in some thick brush.

From there your at #14 and half way home and you get back into some more open holes to bring out your drivers. The next six are long with the exception of one little 200ish footer.

Back you go into the woods to play a few until you get to hole 24. If you still have an arm, you're gonna need it for this 900 foot finale. The best I've done is a +2 on this par 3, but I don't play everyday either.

Give this course a try. It might not be the BEST in Michigan, but it is a top 3 for me.

UPDATE: AUG 19, 2010 :Stony Creek rocked by severe storms and wind. Many trees damaged or destroyed on the course. At least 6 holes have been altered by this storm that produced an F1 tornado a few miles down the road. Watch your step and look up for hanging debris.

Update: June 2011

Course in great shape. New ticket booth installed this spring. Rumors of course expansion this fall. Law enforcement spottings near holes 5-8. Look out!

Pros: course is very diverse. has everything from open field long range shots to tight woods accurate shots. water is even in play on 3 holes. many situations that call for hyzers, anhyzers, and tomohawks. Nice course to spend a day at.
Cons: wind plays a major factor in play. also not much shade, even in the woods so be prepared to bring sunblock. also the day after rain hole 11 is solid mud near the basket.
Other Thoughts: course is not as good as before all the deforesting went on but still a very fun and challenging course to play!!
