Pros: - A nice 9 hole course
- Good distance for majority of holes, some challenges, the possibility of rolling down into Charlie's Dump makes for a hazard
- Baskets (no posts, this helped bring my rating up) If at all confused, at least the baskets help direct gameplay.
Cons: - No signs to help direct new players who have not played course before.
- The idea of throwing from basket makes gameplay slower if there is a large crowd playing.
- No pad's for driving (not really a problem, but again, for new players, it's difficult to say where the start is)
- Playground near last 4 holes (watch for children and the road to left).
Other Thoughts: - Bathroom near first hole (Port-A-Jon) and enough parking
- Can't miss it location wise
Overall, I can't say it was the best course setup but for playing wise I enjoyed it. Aside from confusion I found the corner shots a challenge and enjoyed the birdies I got at those places. It is an interesting area to play.

Pros: Aesthetic-- park is a nice park, especially around the parking lot. the soccer bowl is boring and repetitive.
baskets-- DiscNation baskets (not a choice in course profile) good condition as they're brand new.
routing-- relatively easy.
Cons: length/challenge-- this course is boring. straight up boring. the repetitve nature of the holes around the soccer bowls are a huge let down. the fact that the woods to the north of the soccer bowl aren't really in play is kind of depressing.
Danger-- after the soccer bowl, the course plays EXTREMELY close to picnic tables, paths and playground.
potential wasted-- there is a lot of potential here but it's simply wasted by it's repetitive nature. disappointing to say the least.
Complete lack of teesigns/teepads-- it's annoying to say the least. having a teesign for #1 and nothing and not even having the baskets numbered is straight lazy.

Pros: - nice new baskets, the baskets are brand new and very nice
- Clean park
-super close to both huges park
-Nice elevation for a 9 holer.
- 30 minutes to play a solo round.
Cons: - No signs minus the first hole (unless you count the arrows on the back of the baskets telling you were to go)
-Dirt Tee Pads, (as there are no signs this makes it worse as it's super hard to figure out where the holes are)
-One of the holes (I think 7?) has the basket like 10 feet from the round. It should be a putter hole, but with some wind this could turn out bad.
Other Thoughts: There is a good amount of shots needed, but the place is pretty boring. You will see the sign for hole 1 right by the port-a-potty. The first 6 holes wrap around a soccer field, with hardly any trees. It turns into three a little more wooded holes around a playground. The playground is not in effect that much unless you have a horrible throw.
This place is right off Chicago drive, and is really close to Huges park. Normally I would say just go there, unless you want to hit up two places in a day.
If you are located really close to this, I can see playing it a lot, but besides that it's not anything above anything else in the greater Grand Rapids area.

Pros: Baskets are brand new. There a few holes where the throwing area is elevated. Playground in course that kids love to go to. Good family course. I am glad they are putting up more courses in the area.
Cons: No tee boxes or distance signs. Short course. Only 9 holes.

Pros: Nice little course. Holes 1- 6 wrap around the outside of the soccer bowl down below. Good Starter course for beginners and those wanting to work on their short game. Holes 7 - 9 wrap around the play area and through the lightly wooded area there. There are trees in play of the holes but good shots won't challenge the expert players. For what they had to work with not too bad. from the article they are willing to make possible changes to make the course better.
Cons: Right now the big one is no designated tee areas. The back of some of the holes point to the next hole with a distance. Sidewalks guard pretty much the left side of almost every hole out there. Couple of the baskets are near the sidewalk but not really too bad. the 8th hole could be a lot longer and put more trees into play if they will allow it.
Other Thoughts: 1st tee now in. its located next to port a john. the hole shoots across the corner of the soccer bowl. makes for a nice challenging shot. Nice course to bring the family to. no real signature holes more of a fun family recreational course. if you are looking for a challenging course this isn't it. if you are looking for a quick nine holes where you can work on your short game then this may be a good course for you.
