Hillside Ranch Apt.
Pros: All holes are short so it is pretty easy to score well on this course which helps boost your confidence. Good course for beginners. Tee boxes are still pretty new so not too worn out. Easy to navigate once you know that the last four holes are on the other side of the apartment complex (not that long of a walk). The baskets are new DisCatcher with double chains. This course can be played in under an hour easily even with up to five people.
Cons: There is a good amount of cactus so watch out for that. Tee boxes are gravel so they can get a little slippery. No real chances to test your distance unless you add a made up bonus hole which I usually do at the end from around the ninth basket back to hole no.7
Other Thoughts: This is a great course for beginners since the holes are not too long. Even if you shank your first drive, it is usually an easy approach shot to get close to the basket for par. It is also a good course for seasoned players to work on their finesse game since most of the lines are pretty technical. It's a good course to warm up on before playing the Texas State Course since it is literally 2 minutes away.
