Reviewed: Played on:Aug 2, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

+There are baskets
+Waterpark and school nearby may entice some people into playing. The park that this course is in is pretty nice.
+Some interesting hole design, especially if you play certain areas as OB. Hole 3 and 9 could be fun OB holes if you set up some rules.
+Lots of parking and bathrooms.
+There are baskets and they are numbered.
+Hard to lose a disc here.

Cons:

-This park appears to never get played. There are no tees or even spots worn into the ground where people tee off from. There are some wood markers around the park that kind of look like tees but I saw some far from the disc golf course so they could be for something else.
-The baskets are designed as temporary baskets and are single chained. They have the temp mount and are not cemented in. They are staked down but could easily be stolen. Hole 7 was taken already.
-The course is flat and any trees on the course are young and small. The course rarely forces you to throw any line.
-The course throws too close to the pool fence and also to walking paths.

Other Thoughts:

+There isn't much here. It was a half hearted attempt to put a cheap disc golf course here. The land used is not really good for disc golf and has other issues. The city should put the baskets in another park and cement them into the ground.
+This course is definitely not worth a stop unless you are a course bagger like me. I don't really enjoy courses without tees.
+This is the only public course in town so it could be used for practice if this is your only choice.
