Pros: Almost always have the course to yourself, good if you're just starting out and self conscious, good if you want to practice long drives.
Cons: Bad tee pads, because it's not played much and walked on, the grass can get fairly long, can't play during school hours, sometimes practices are going on and cars are parked near the 8th and 9th holes.
Other Thoughts: This course isn't worth much of a drive. But I live about 5 minutes away so no complaints there. It's a good course to practice throwing if you're a beginner. Because it's rarely played you can really take your time and don't have to worry about being rushed.

Pros: Bellbrook Middle School is a fun little practice course that makes the most of an unimpressive plot of land. Consisting of 9 holes more or less in an open field, the BMS course may not look like much at first glance, but the design has incorporated every interesting feature of the land. Playing to a basket on a ridge or semi-protected by a building is always more interesting than 9 straight, flat 300 foot holes. Of course it's not award-winning design, but it's the best that can be done in this situation. Particularly of interest is the downhill Hole 8, which plays from an elevated area by the baseball fields to a courtyard next to the school building. Occasionally stiff headwinds on the tee give way to complete calm in the shadow of the building, playing havoc with what would otherwise be a gimme hole.
This course is rarely played, so you'll often find yourself enjoying a quiet, private round. Even better for a casual glow round!
All 9 holes feature DISCatchers in good shape.
Cons: The course is what it is: a 9 hole field course. No world-class design or amenities here.
No teepads to speak of here. Each "pad" consists of four paver stones that serve more as markers than anything else, so you'll want to tee off from alongside for obvious reasons. Use them to set your bag down when the ground is wet.
No tee signs either. You'll have to use the map and your navigation skills to find the teeing areas the first time you play.
Some young saplings and tall grasses can be found here and there, but neither really make for passable obstacles.
It's nice to have the building incorporated into the design for variety's sake, but you'll want to avoid hitting a window or throwing your Hole 9 tee shot onto the roof.
Other Thoughts: To my knowledge, this course was developed in partnership with the Innova EDGE program. It's cool to have the baskets here, as it's the only school grounds course in the area.
As sisyphus mentioned, the long distances may be a bit much for middle schoolers, but they keep the course from being a total dud for the rest of us. If you're local and looking for a way to practice drives and windy play, this is a definite step up from throwing on a football field. Practice your game in peace and quiet and have a little fun while you're at it.

nice, tight 9 holes
Pros: 9 hole layout behind Bellbrook Middle School, looks harder than it is, very scenic at night. Teepads consist of 4 blocks put together.
Cons: last 2 holes are near windows, otherwise nice practice course, has some distance on the last few holes.
Other Thoughts: itd be nice if they add a few more holes in the woods, nice little 9 holes to do in 30 mins though.
