Pros: No crowds here, as a matter of fact I'm not sure anyone had ever played here before. Red Fir forest in the High Sierra, Year round stream at hole 6. No poisonous plants snakes or mosquitoes the day we were there.

Cons: I think this course was made for the summer camp on which it is located (empty when we were there). This is not really a place to build a public course being on very steep, sandy and woody slope. Hole 4 was the most difficult to find, and when we did, the basket had been crushed by a '200+ fallen Fir. Hole 5 has thick thorn bushes to left of basket. No t-pads or trails.

Other Thoughts: I was not disappointed because it was what I expected, and had a fun adventure. I respect anyone who puts in a course and I understand the problems of having non-ideal terrain, but making a flat spot in the dirt for a tee pad, so you can tell where to throw from, is needed. Look for A-frame pedestrian bridge, cross and look to right to find the first tee. Follow the occasional red reflector or street cone and kick a flat spot out of the dirt and you have a T-pad.
