Aptly named and designed for school
Pros: 1) Adequate distance variation for a short school course. If this was a regular course geared towards people other than school kids, I would say it needs more variation.
2) DGA Signs with Hole Distance, Par, and a Map. Not the most attractive signs but informative.
3) Very safe course with tees far away from baskets and vice versa.
4) Practice basket is available near the first tee which is a bonus.
5) While there is very little interest on this property, the designer used what natural underbrush was available to make 3 holes fairly challenging.
6) Rules sign is available near the first tee.
7) Arrows painted on bricks near the baskets direct you to the next tee.
8) Beginner friendly for sure.

Cons: 1) Signs seem to be installed too close to the tee not allowing a stance on the entire tee without fear of hitting your hand on the sign.
2) #3 teesign is missing already. It must be the kids who have a fort in the tree.
3) The walk from 2 to 3 is long and strange because there is only an arrow pointing you in a direction.
4) 6 of the holes have only wind and some minor rolling elevation to contend with. Not enough interest to make me want to come back here.
5) Grass tees always leave a little to be desired, but are in decent shape.

Other Thoughts: It is what it is. This is a school course introducing a lot of kids to this game. I am so happy to see them dedicate this entire field to the sport of disc golf, because I love the sport and want to see it grow. The designer did what he could on this property even though there isn't much diversity or fun factor on the property. It is well designed for the intended target.
The master plan has a lot of trees slated to be installed . . . which could make this course really fun and challenging. Stay Tuned.

Pros: New baskets.
Cons: Course layout is a mess. Holes are about 225 feet on average. No obstacles present, just an open field the has a couple of tee boxes tucked into trees. Tee boxes aren't present and signage us present.
Other Thoughts: This would have potential if 25+ trees and large bushes were added. It will never be a challenge because the holes are so short but it could help beginners learn shot techniques if something other than air was in the way. My group was super disappointed with this course..

First time - Wide open but fun!
Pros: Great beginner course - right now it plays like a brand new course - wide open on 75-80%. Nice incorporation of existing vegetation and few trees on the outskirts of the field. Great course to work on placement. Plays quick - not much area to lose discs, either. Easy to find - just about five miles off of I-94
Cons: Not that challenging for more advanced players. A little better tee signs, for 3 especially.
Other Thoughts: My daughter and I loved hole #3 - playing through two hefty tree limbs straight up a small hill to the basket - very nice!
Great little course right in the heart of Kenosha - thanks to KUSD and Hillcrest school for making this happen! Can't wait for the landscaping to take shape - if anyone wants to donate a tree to this nice new 9 hole course, please call 262-359-6118!
