Pros: • Individual holes play pretty well, and most are challenging.
• Dual tees provide more/less challenge depending on what suits you.
• Tee signs with clever names for holes (adds a nice touch), distance, and hole layout showing both tees. Pegs to hang bags.
• Next tee signs in a few spots
• Not much traffic = no waiting for other players.
• Signature Hole 2
• Pleasant, suburban city park with plenty of amenities, including snack bar and restrooms, ice rinks, ball fields - fairly well insulated from other park visitors, but not completely.
• Good use limited elevation where available. Decent use of small chunk of park property that would otherwise not be used.
Cons: • Flow is abysmal and navigation is tough to follow for the uninitiated - makes it hard to get a rhythm going. Easy to get confused after 3 and after 4.
• Chance of hitting a car on 1st hole (a slim, but definite possibility).
• Could have made better use of water:
• I love throwing over water, but signature hole 2 is a bit ridiculous IMO: 452' total, but it's about 400' to carry the water, with essentially no way to lay-up (although it plays a bit downhill from the long tee for a bit of help).
• Nasty water hidden behind basket 3, close to the basket on a downhill … bad.
• Low traffic means paths to next hole aren't as well-worn as other busier courses - tough to follow peak season when growth is thick.
• Long walk to 2nd hole, somewhat long to 4 and then 5. Very long walk after 9 back to 1st tee or parking.
• More frustrating than fun.

Other Thoughts: I try to be objective, but honestly, I just don't care for this course. Despite what they got right (some decent holes and clean park, signs) I simply don't enjoy playing here that much. I prefer tight, technical courses to open bomber courses, but this course really makes you pay for leaving the fairway, and seemsto be lacking any real "fun factor." Water carry on hole 2 is unfriendly, and hidden water on 3 is rude.

I realize the layout tries to make the best use of the available land, and given the plot of land, they made some decent holes, but the flow sucks and they could have made things a bit more accommodating. A well laid-out niner 9 leads back to 1 and parking so you can play a quick 18 and get going - not the case here. It's at least a 1200' walk back to 1st tee. Only worth it if you need to kill time while your kid's at hockey practice. They tried, but fell short. OK if you live in the immediate area, but not worth a drive from a different part of town. Do yourself a favore and play Cass Benton Hills instead.

Pros: Hardly anyone ever on this course allowing you to practice shots and diffrent discs. It is a quick course to play. Good for beginners
Cons: There is a long walk down 8 mile road to get to hole 2. The upkeep is terrible here. Trees fallen everywhere and the grass is hardly ever mowed. Many snakes on this course. Bridge on last half of course is washed out and navigating it is a mess.
Other Thoughts: This is a great beginner course to learn how to throw, or if you are looking for a quick, quiet game.

Pros: Good parking
Some good shots to b made
Holes 3, 7, 8
Not alot of traffic
Cons: Thinking up pros for this course
The walk from 1 to 2
Hole 2
Hole 4 pro
Finding hole 4
Where's the am tee for hole 2?
The lone tee for hole three could easily b missed
Miss leading "next tee" signs
Other Thoughts: I shoot on par with this course on a windy day from he pro tees, that beIng said this isnt a very good course. Clearly from the location of the holes this was thought of well after the park had been built. I'll just save everyone some aggravation and reading every other reveiw to find the holes and list them all here for convince:
1 main parking lot right next to 8 mile road and the skate park
2 follow he sign that says next tee out the space in the fence walk along the sidewalk till u see the next Parking lot walk to the very back right corner of second parking lot and there is the pro tee for 2 have fun and try not to lose ur disk
3 over the bridge next to basket 2 through the lil patch of woods youll come up to a table and look Next to it for the blue plank that's the only tee for 3
4 follow the sign over the bridge to he right of basket 3 turn left just before the main parking lot in front of u walk along tree line till u see a path take it walk about 3 yards and you'll see the insane pro tee for 4 just walk along the "fairway" and go to the am you'll see it about 300 feet up its yellow
5 take little path to he right of basket 4 back out to parking lot area turn left and look slightly right he pro for 5 is just at the top of the lil hill you'll see the sign
6 the next tee sign is missing for this one so after 5 turn left in the clearing you'll then see what use to b a sign for 6 that's where the pro is
7 right in front of 6
8 walk past 7 path opens up to the left is the yellow am tee for 8 if you go right and follow the lil beaten trail you'll come up to the pro for 8 it's over the pond only shoot from there if you know you can make it (totally worth it when you do)
9 there's a fallen tree somewhat blocking the path to 9 but just turn around after 8 back to the left you should see it 9 is bout 100 feet up that trail in the brush looks dificult but with the right drive it's not at all

Only go to this course if you need to feel better about ur game

Pros: -Very scenic, for the suburbs, creeks and water.
-Speaking of water, it comes into play. A few opportunities to be daring.
-Good baskets
-Fairways well mowed.
-Other amenities at the complex.
Cons: -Muddy, slick.
-Hard to find your way around, especially with the large distance between baskets and the next tee. A couple more signs would make a world of difference.
-While Founders Sports Park is well maintained overall, the paths on the course were not well maintained, and it was often difficult to get to the next hole. Especially on hole 9 where the slab of wood used for a bridge was washed out.
-Flow is awful. If you park at the first hole you have a short clear shot on hole 1 with 8 mile, a very busy road, on your left. Definite danger of wild newbie throws heading towards the road. After that basket, there's a several hundred foot walk along the road to the vicinity of the next tee, and little guidance as to where to find the tee set alongside the pond. After Hole 3, signs guides you across a bridge and point you out across the field, the next tees are hidden in the woods on the side of the creek you just crossed. The whole way there's opportunities to get misguided and backtrack. To top it off, hole 9 finishes up a good 1500' from the first tee, just in case you weren't tired enough of the huge gaps between holes.
-Bad tees. They're just boards set in the ground, paint nearly completely peeled away. Footing can be quite insecure. Short tee on 2 pitched severely to the right, making the water even more threatening.
Other Thoughts: This is a pretty property, and could probably fit 12-15 nice holes without interfering with the rest of the Sports Park business, but to set it up in such a way would take more money than they are willing to spend on it. It doesn't take much time here to realize disc golf is not a priority for them. The big team sports on the fields and the ice rinks are the bread and butter of FSP, and disc golf was an afterthought. As it is you get long course walk with short course play, and a feeling of regret that it isn't something more.

Pros: -dual tees
-great conditun chainstars
-defined fairways (weather permitting)
-great risk/reward on both the technical and open shots
-friendly staff
-plays quickly when played well
-most tee signs are intact and host peg bag holders
-two rewarding water carries
-handful of benches and a grill on the fairway of three
(due to low traffic I'd imagine it easily useable)
Cons: - difficultly can be unforgiving to newer players
- low land leaves standing water that can prevent mowing
Other Thoughts: I great break from the crowds at cass or the openess of Lola, the farm offers a secluded, quick round for the expierenced golfer. Low levels of traffic and a good group of leaugers equal little trash and vandalism.

Hole one is to the left of the skate park. Hole two is by the parking lot west of the skate park, so walk left and follow the wooden fence. The path for whole nine is left of eights basket.
For quicker play of eighteen, play ams and pros for 1-3 at the same time.

Pros: - Dual Tees
- Challenging for a 9-hole
Cons: - Ridiculously overgrown plant life
- Heavily wooded is an understatement
- The "bridge" to 9
- Finding 2 after finishing 1 could be confusing for someone without a guide.
- A freak shot on 3 could find it's way onto the baseball diamond.
- Lack of signage on some holes.
Other Thoughts: Played from Pro tees.

Don't overthrow on 8 or you'll find yourself in the stream.

The first three holes are deceiving. I was one under when I reached 4. That's when the tree magnet turned on. Now, I can appreciate obstacles, but there's obstacles and then there's overgrown. This was overgrown. Saplings and thorn bushes were everywhere.

Shooting from the pro tee on 4 is insane. You are literally threading the needle. Your throw has to be perfect because of all the plant life that has found its way onto the fairway.

Hole 9 was a mess. I have never had to climb over so many fallen trees before.

This course has some great potential. It just needs a little bit of landscaping. I'll come back later in the fall when all the plants have died.

Pros: Nice challenging course that is never packed. Variety of shots are required. 2 sets of tee pads equals a fun 18.
Cons: Needs some TLC. Long walk between hole 1 to hole 2 and from hole 9 to hole 1.
Other Thoughts: This course will make you better. Course record is 46 playing both tees, 40 for Doubles. Leagues are played out here on Thursdays - 5:30PM.

Pros: Tight course with alot of challenges for a "hole in the wall". Awesome water shots on 2 and 8. Not too popular so the course usually doesn't have too many players on it. Great 9 holes for accuracy practice.
Cons: Unkempt, and vandalism are my two biggest cons. Otherwise, the fact that it is surrounded by multiple baseball, softball, and soccer fields in a highly populated area is a downfall in its own. Kids & adults aimlessly walking through the course esp. when teeing off can be very annoying.
Other Thoughts: Just needs to be trimmed, signage fixed, and maybe put in a few warning signs, and this would be a nice "right in your backyard" course.

Pros: Extremely challenging course where one wouldn't expect to find one. Good variation in holes for only a 9 hole experience. Two shots over ponds and some wooden lines make this enjoyable.
Cons: Very random in layout (course and holes). This course was definitely built around everything else that is already there, i.e. skate park, baseball fields, soccer fields, ice arena, etc, so travelling from hole to hole and really ruin the ambiance. One hole is even shoved in by a baseball diamond's backstop. Once you get towards the latter end of the course, it flows a bit better, mostly through woods with the fairways cut out. The first hole is by the skate park and is ridiculously easy. A ten-year-old could par this open shot. Then you have to walk about a quarter-mile to the other side of the complex for hole 2, which is over a very large pond that any amateur would not enjoy playing over. Hole 3 is stuck by the backstop, and then a long trek out into a gravel parking lot where teeball kids were warming up, takes you back in to hole 4 with a damn tight line and a creek to your left will fell your spirit. Low-lying ground causes flooding if it has rained, and upkeep is an issue on parts of the course.
Other Thoughts: A nice addition to an already awesome sporing complex, bur if you are looking for a true disc golf experience, look elsewhere. A for effort, C for execution.

Pros: Discraft Baskets! Sun was shinning,
Cons: Very Hard to locate the holes even with a score card that showed the map of the course. No Tee pads to speak of, dirt and not very easily located. Course was not designed with new players in mind. I would only recommend playing some of the holes with a spotter!!! But only if you want to keep your discs.
Other Thoughts: The park is very nice and has alot of potential. There is a new skateboard park located where the original pratice basket was. Fairways are in need of being cleaned up. (trees trimmed and removed. Very little traffic most likely due to condition of the course.
