Pros: This course is in one of the most incredible parks I have seen. There is a huge lake and the water fountain that is sure to go off once during a round was spectacular. There is a park for kids and restuarants near by. The course itself is super challenging with some good long holes and some water holes that will really make you think. This course has been by far one of the most challenging courses mentally that I have played.
Cons: There is lots of water that is ready to get your disc and even with a stick retrieval is near impossible with the amount of algee that is in the water. The map that is available and posted at every hole is not entirely accurate, in particular with hole 12 where the tee is really up on the sidewalk by the road rather than on the walking path. It is nice that they post the map at every tee. There is some foot traffic to contend with.
Other Thoughts: There are a couple of options in playing this course. You can park by the playground area and play 1 through 18 or you can park along the street by hole 10 and play 10 to 18 first. Either way you are going to walk all the way around the lake in the park. I would say that it is imparative to bring junk water discs with you when you play this course. There are just too many tricky shots involving water. Also build up your mental game before you play here, it can really get to you, I may never go near water again, hope I don't stink too bad from lack of showers.

Pros: This place has great scenery, every hour on the hour the fountain goes off.
The course is mapped out clearly.
Mostly long distance holes.
Challenging and extremely fun.
Cons: Lost a couple of disks in the lake.
DO NOT go to the bar Overtime sports bar and grill that is across the street.
Other Thoughts: I love this course. the fountain is beautiful, it is located on a great park. Plus Fountain Hills is a great community.

Pros: Beautiful setting
Good use of terrain
Curious pedestrian cheerleaders (a good opportunity to be ambassadors of the sport)
Cons: Too much goose poop all over--especially near the shore (where the geese hang out)--not only do your discs get poop on them (and subsequently your towel), your shoes do too
The holes seemed redundant to me
I agree with the water issue...it is pretty slimy and scary stuff lol
Other Thoughts: I know a lot of people love this course--it just doesn't do much for me.
I know it has a lot to do with my idiosyncrasies (and maybe some others are like me and my take may be helpful)--I do business in the Phx metro area, so it's pretty far to travel for what it offers me

Pros: Beautiful park surrounding a man-made lake (reclaimed water that is an unusual shade of blue green, that I was in no hurry to touch in order to get wet discs). Some interesting and picturesque trees throughout the park come into play on a lot of the holes, as well as several little bays and inlets near the water. Good variety of challenges, some long, some short, some technical, some slight elevation. Beautifully groomed grass makes you feel like you are playing on a 'ball golf' course.
Cons: Both times we've played here it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week. And we still ran into a lot of pedestrian traffic.. I can't imagine what this place is like on the weekends.
Other Thoughts: Always an anticipated destination course whenever we are in the Phoenix area. Well worth the trip.

Pros: Wonderful course wrapping around the fountain lake. Nice variety of hills, trees, and water in play creates interesting obstacles and challenging holes. Many up/down/overhill shots spice things up.
Also, the shoreline of this AZ(ie. manmade) lake is full of mini "peninsulas" and "bays", which are used cleverly in pin placement for several shots over the water or along it.

Water is in play on nearly every hole on this course, which is both unusual and really cool (and really scary).

Grass is well groomed, and grounds kept very neat and tidy. Beautiful view of lake and fountain. Circular concrete tee pads are clearly numbered, and its usually obvious which basket you are going to.

Though this course is fairly open, there is quite a bit of elevation in play, and the ever-present hazard of the lake's murky waters, which are all used to make a lot of very interesting shots and risk-reward, including blind baskets, and several small gaps to thread (or risk long water crossing shots)
Cons: The park is too Nice, thus attracting pedestrains and picnickers galore. It is not uncommon to have to wait for a clear shot.
Also, the times I've been there (two saturdays), they had events going on by or in the park, so if you go on a weekend you might be shooting next to booths or over temporary stands.
The course follows the lakeshore all the way around, so water is in play on almost every hole. The bottom of the murky lake is a lumpy concrete that likes to grab retrieval devices, so fish carefully for discs. Also, the lake is murky(its manmade), so if you are going to pull a Happy Gilmore and jump in after your disc, good luck, because its very hard to see discs in the water. A much better idea is to have the first player drive, then walk down by the water to be ready to grab a disc out of the water before it sinks or swat it out of the air shaq-style before it goes in.
Other Thoughts: Bring a hat, glasses and water, because trees are scattered and there are no water fountains on the course.
However, there is a little shopping center after the 18th hole that has ice cream and smoothie shops in it: perfect high note to finish every round on. Especially on hot days (=every day)

Pros: this course was a blast, believe the layout is a bit different then when i last played - but beautiful scenic course, fountain in the center, mountains all around, tons of pins right on the waters edge- and so windy - be careful- rolling hills, always have pedestrians to cheer on your shots - great desert course - so un-desert-like
Cons: your disc gets wet, it gets wet quick and nearly impossible to see in the murky geese thriving waters - bring a disc diver - good luck
