2cd "beginner course" near Temecula/Murrieta
Pros: -The course of well kept. Gardening is done once or twice a week.
-a mix of long, curved shots (great for learning your disc arcs)
course map is placed right next to marker Three.
Cons: -it's spaced inside a park and people like to unleash dogs. (even with a no leash sign)
-tons of obstacles (poles, tree branches, trees)
-hole 6 has been removed and placed to the left of marker 8.
-the tennis court does not open so be careful of throwing on hole 4. I have lost two discs because of the locked gate. There is no way of getting around it.
Other Thoughts: There is room for improvement. Maybe they should get rid of some of the obstacles and trimming the branches near holes 1 and 2?
-closely monitored course, as in there is a camera pole on hole 4
2 Helpful / 3 Not
Pros: good practice course. Long holes, curves, slopes. Lots of green and you can bring your dog.
Cons: The course is in the middle of a neighborhood park. Lots of children around and people who will just play at random baskets with no respect for other peoples games. Too close to houses on one and you are shooting right at a basketball net that kids are normally playing on.
The park has enough space to make this a better course. I hope they look at how mountain pride handled a similar layout issue and use the space creatively.
Other Thoughts: if you get distracted easily, you will not enjoy this course, but it is good practice if you look out for traffic.
