Great Park Improvements Ignored Disc Golf?]

Pros: This small, hilly, neighborhood park in northern Kentucky, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati, has had major infrastructure improvements in the past year or so. Beautiful pavilions, bathrooms, landscaping, a top-notch baseball field (with benches placed between shade trees overlooking the third base line, a wonderful scoreboard, etc), and play areas, have all been added or upgraded.
The positive I can say about the DG course is that it still has some very interesting, hilly shots, starting with a 259 foot downhill where you'll want to put on the brakes, and not run long into the woods, an over-valley 236 footer requiring shaping around a gorgeous tree, and even a finishing hole that will stretch out your arm (482', with OB roadway on the right, and trees to navigate, plus a downslope left to avoid: a tricksy challenge).
Cons: It's frustrating to see the money going into this park, and the DG course looking like an unwanted stepchild.
The baskets are usually rusted, bent up, and/or completely falling apart (not just chains hanging loose or pulled back with duct tape, but #3 has a bottom ring gone, so your discs fall completely through the bottom of the "entrapment device").
The (shall we say) "unique" stone tee pads are disappearing, some naturally, but at least two (#3 & #4) look like someone decided the stones could be put to better use elsewhere.
The bathrooms eliminated the #5 tee (I play from the sidewalk), and the #6 basket has been removed.
The #7 tee disappeared with the work around the backstop of the baseball field (I throw from there).
The design was obviously intended to work around the perimeter of the earlier park amenities, but now seems to add danger spots: #3 now risks hyzering (rhbh) your drive into a huge gravel parking (?) area below the basket; #7 throws to within a few feet of cars parking for baseball; #8 requires a low, hard drive from a nearly blind angle to travel over the roadway for nearly 200' (and needing to wait, and sometimes wait a long time, for cars, pedestrians, joggers, and so on, to clear); #9 has two picnic tables in the right side of the fairway.
Other Thoughts: They're nice tables, but…it's as if they really don't intend to keep this course!
I'm not sure if there are other options available for a redesign, or if this course is on its last legs. Kinda sad…

Pros: There are mature trees and huge elevation changes.
Cons: The baskets are not good they are very old and beat up. The flow of the course is messed up because of the baseball feilds.
Other Thoughts: Nine holes with old baskets that are in bad shape. Good design with some d and woods not a hard course but offers some challenges.
