Pros: Nice course. A revised version of the one out in for the 2003 pro worlds tweaked for the 2005 am worlds. Lot of elevation change. Clean air, and a nice hike. Front nine has nice some variety. Nice change of pace from the 3 courses in town. 18th hole can make or break a round if your disc stands on edge and rolls down the slope.
Cons: Back nine seems a bit repetitive, back and forth across the ski runs.
Other Thoughts: I understand that there's going to be some tree cutting up there this year, and only the back 9 might be open for play.

Pros: Picturesque, high altitude, BIG holes, super technical...it's what a disc golf course should be.
Cons: It's just a tough course, not that that is a bad thing...but it's something to consider. Don't take your buddy for his first round here.
Other Thoughts: This course is so sick! There are a couple holes that you will always remember for sure!

Pros:
- The scenery is phenomenal and the placement of a disc golf course on a ski slope is always awesome.
- Some decent downhill shots.
- Lots of biride opportunities for a mountain course.
The tee-pads and tee-signs were better than expected for a mountain course. And, there were well worn paths from basket to tee-pad so navigation was easy. When in doubt... follow the foot paths more than the roads.
Cons:
- Lots of birdie opportunities - This course is too easy... And, with the par 4 and 5's listed on the tee-signs it is rediculously easy. (I played the courses as all 3's and shot -4).
- Too wide open! There were baskets in the middle of ski runs with no trees involved at all. There is soooo much opportunity here for an absolutely amazingly difficult course (2 courses)... it is definately not the Worlds course from 2003. A bit of a disappointment.
Other Thoughts:
- If you park in the lot below the lodge (they lock the gates at 5) then start on hole 10. Play through 18 - which is near hole 1's tee-pad... and finish on 9, which is near the car. This will save you a 1/4 mile walk uphill @ 9000+ feet elevation to get to hole 1.
- Ski Sunrise in Wrightwood (So-Cal) blows this course away! - if you need a barometer! This mountain course is just too short and too open - it seems set up for beginners.
- Putting at 9500+ feet took some getting used to. I seemed to putt high (or) the disc seemed to stay up. Either way... when you play this course by yourself there is no time to get your pulse under control before it's your turn again. Some serious elevation.
My Score: -4

Pros: well to start of the scenery is amazing.great mtn vistas along with mutiple type's of mtn tree's. the course plays mostly open with a few wooded holes, however no flat holes and some type of obstructions occure on each hole. rubber tee pads and tee signs on each hole, giving distance and direction to the next tee. mutlipe uphill shots along with downhill bombers. must be accurate on downhill shots or you will pay the price.alot of 2's out here, but if your not on, you will be 3ing all day or worse. must play this mountian course. Leauge play saturday mornings 11am
Cons: tee pads are bumpy and short.
needs more wooded holes (there is pleanty of woods to use )
no trash cans
grass gets tall durings summer month's,keep your eys open on those longer holes
can be very windy and the weather can change very quickly. dont get caught up there when a storm breaks loose.

Other Thoughts: this is trully a great mtn course, its does not compare to other mtn courses when it comes to difficulty BUT its always a enjoyable time up here. its seems to play different everytime i play it. either wind, roll away's, or coming up short or overthrowing happens. dont miss out on this mtn course with amazing scenery and fun golf.

Pros: Spectacular views, unbelievably fun downhill shots that sail forever, brutal uphill tugs, and did I mention the views? Unique surroundings.
Cons: Weather is highly variable, with heat and sleet in the same day. Easy to lose plastic.
Other Thoughts: One of my all time favorite rounds of golf was $20 buy in triples during the finals of the Worlds. Watched (Filmed) Joe Mela drop in a fifty footer for a deuce on the 800 foot downhill 18 to win triples (Elaine King hit the basket off the tee during the tournament!). Bring super flippy plastic.

Pros: Great Views
Very private
Challenging shots with a wide variety of elevation change (downhill, uphill, across the slope)
Nicest baskets in Flagstaff
Hole 1, 4, 9, 17, 18 are some of my favorites.
Beginner friendly
Open holes and tight holes
Cons: Teepads are short, often uphill, and lumpy and do not handle rain well.
I wish it was longer, similar to the 03 Worlds layout
Very tall grass on hole 9 can lead to lots of looking
Other Thoughts: Weather can change quick so be prepared with long sleeves and lots of water, a great place to come play with great views and challenging shots
It is a great change from the rest of Flagstaff, it is private and quiet
This course could be a 4/5 with improved teepads and a more challenging layout, however, this is still the best in town

Pros: Beautiful scenery, very challenging course, altitude adds an extra challenge. Usually not crowded.
Cons: Grass gets very high in the late summer so it's real easy to loose your discs. Other than the beautiful views it's not actually a real interesting course. You mostly either throwing up the slope or down the slope.
Other Thoughts: Go in the fall when the Aspens are in color.
