Don't Judge a Book by its Cover 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 28, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Very tough/technical in the woods (if you like that sort of thing)
- Clubhouse on-site (food, beverages, restrooms, etc.), with a person from the property going out with a golf cart to see if anyone wants snacks/drinks
- Lots of elevation changes
- 3-4 holes to let it rip with your driver (open/longer)
- Tees for beginners, ams, and pro level play

Cons:

- Very tough/technical in the woods (if you are *not* into that sort of thing)
- Tee surfaces are loose/slick (would be tough if very wet or if snow/ice were present)
- 1-2 holes could present a hazard for disc golfers coming out of the woods into the middle of ball golf fairways (golfers not seeing players to yell "fore!" before it's too late).

Other Thoughts:

At least off the long (Pro) tees, this course plays a *lot* tougher than one might think from simply looking at hole distances. Fairways are very narrow to barely existent on a few holes, with lots of up and down. I loved it! But I could see certain types of players becoming very frustrated playing "pinball" for much of the round.
