Try not to hit people...
Pros: OVERALL FUN FACTOR (16% weight) - 2.5 - Average fun factor to play here. It is a longtime established course with long history which makes it fun because there are a lot of disc golfers there.
COURSE DESIGN (14% weight) - 4 - Course design is great for the narrow space this park has to offer between the bike path along the river on one side and riverside drive on the other side. Be careful not to throw into the street and hit cars!
SIGNS/MAPS/MARKERS (11% weight) - 3 - Signs at every tee showing you where the baskets are referencing trees and obstacles. There are no "next tee" signs after the holes, but the course just loops back on itself, so it's pretty easy to follow.
TEE PADS (8% weight) - 4 - Nice concrete tees
ELEVATION (8% weight) - 3 - Course makes good use of the little elevation changes there are.
SCENIC BEAUTY (8% weight) - 2.5 - nothing too special. Nice view of the River as you play.
BASKETS (5% weight) - 4 - Nice baskets in good condition. Placed on hillsides on ea few holes makes for challenging putting.
FOLIAGE MAINTENANCE (3% weight) - 4 - Grass is cut and park is well kept.
OVERALL CHALLENGE (3% weight) - 2.5 - average
Cons: EPIC HOLES (5% weight) - 1.5 - No holes really stick out to me as epic.
DISTANCE VARIETY (5% weight) - 1.5 - Most all holes are short or average in length. 7 holes are under 250 feet.
SHOT VARIETY (5% weight) - 2 - Many of the holes were very similar and not a lot of shot variety required.
BENCHES / TRASH BINS (3% weight) - 2 - There are a few trash cans through out the park, no benches at the tees.
MIX OF TIGHT AND OPEN (3% weight) - 2 - The "tight" holes were the ones where you throw along the side of the road which is OB - but for the most part all of the holes are open with large trees as obstacles.
CROWDED? (3% weight) - 1 - Crowded with lots of non disc golfers and people jogging, rollerblading, riding bikes on the path next to the park. I imagine people on bikes get hit by discs quite often here. This is a negative.
PARKING (2% weight) - 1.5 - A very busy park, and not enough parking on weekend days - had to drive around to find street parking on the other side of Riverside drive.
Other Thoughts: Since this is such a popular park for the people of Tulsa I think a lot of people get interested in the sport by watching disc golfers play here.

Riverside: On the side...of a river...
Pros: Course is located right next to the Arkansas river, which provides good views, but doesn't come into play. Trees are utilized well here. A few hills come into play, but all of them are side hills. The holes are very easy for the average player. Tee pads are very good. Large enough for the course. The tee signs are amazing, and made by Houck Design. Baskets are DISCatchers, catch well, and have no graffiti on them. Navigation is very easy. The tee pad is always visible from the previous basket.
Cons: Like I said earlier, all of the holes are short and easy. The holes also are very repetitive, and get boring after the first nine. There are a lot of walkers and bikers that can get in the way on a few holes. The front nine can get dangerous because the other fairways are close on the right, and there's a busy street on the left. If you throw into the street, you might have a hard time getting it back. One of the tee signs was missing, which isn't too big of a deal, but still...
Other Thoughts: This is a nice little "park" course that provides a little bit of challenge, but gets very boring. There just aren't any amazing holes here. I wish I could rate this course higher. It has all of the amenities, just not a good design.

Pros: Beautiful and well kept course. Good signs and decently challenging without being too difficult. Has a decent mix of different types of shots and distances.
Cons: Several holes throw right along a busy street and it is VERY easy for RHBH throwers to hyzer a shot into oncoming traffic. Other holes are very close to jogging trails. Accuracy is a much. Could be a little more technical, but fun as is.
Other Thoughts: Great course, and well worth the trip.

The Glide baby
Pros: Fun little course with lots of interesting little shots. Not very challenging for a pro/adv player but it is fun to play every once in a while when in town. The baskets and tee signs are nice. Concrete pads are in good shape. There are alot of midrange shots on this course but here are also a couple of places a driver is needed fo the speed to get under some limbs. The bathrooms in the middle of the park are nice. The course is pretty much split into two parts, the front and the back, so that if you dont have time to play 18, you can just choose to play one side or the other. There river is really nice looking but does not come into play.
Cons: The park can get very busy and it can get frustrating at times with all of the runners and parkgoers. Hole 10 can get isnt the greatest layout due to the parking lot. There are places that a bad shot can find the street which is really busy.
Other Thoughts: I really like this course for everything that it is. It has the old school feel that it used to have with a couple new amenities. Watch out for people and be prepared to be patient.

Busy city park
Pros: New signs and baskets. View of the Arkansas river throughout the entire course. Bathroom at beginning, midway and end of course. Course makes good use of the land that is available to play in. Forced to make a variety of shots. Somewhat shaded to keep cool during hot summer days. Bicycle rental if you feel like doing that right at the park.
Cons: No privacy. This course is in a very busy city park with separate bike and pedestrian paved pathways. On a busy day, you will find yourself waiting to take your shots because some are right by the sidewalks. Most people have no idea that disc golf is going on and stop and take breaks right in front of you.
Other Thoughts: This is a very nice course, it just seems to get way too crowded on a nice day. Other cities should look into what Tulsa did to make a beautiful bike friendly city and throw in a disc golf course near major river banks. The course left me satisfied with a good somewhat challenging round (finished +4). If you gota play this course, I would probably suggest playing in winter time because the other park traffic should be minimum at that time. If this was my nearest local course, I would drive the few extra miles to find a more secluded disc golf course.

Pros: All holes are well marked. No water hazards unless you count the Arkansas River and/or Riverside Road. All around good location and fun course.
Cons: Can't complain.
Other Thoughts: Keep the disc down as much as possible as there are tree limbs everywhere.

Pros: Well marked, well maintained, good setting, good baskets, tee boxes. Solid all around.
Other Thoughts: I don't mind the busy street. Only a wild throw will end up in the river or the street. Remember to look both ways because people do travel fast on that road.

Pros: Like the other reviews hint it is for beginers it is great to stop by and get a couple of quick holes in or play the full 18 it does not take long at all.
Cons: Just the road, I have not thrown any discs into the road personally, but it is only because of fear of an insurance claim :)
Other Thoughts: decent park all around but as far as the course goes.....meh

Pros: Course is excellent for beginners. Few trees for some decent obstacles. Nice open drives. Holes are quick and easy. 2 people played through the full 18 in an hour moving at a fairly quick pace. Great place to practice any shots.
Cons: Running along the road and the river can be a bit dangerous. If you don't control yourself throwing a disc into either one can be easy. Throwing into the river is normally easy to retrieve but still a hassle but nothing hurts your disc more than throwing it into a car moving 45 mph the other direction.
Other Thoughts: Such a great course for people new to the sport. The scenery is beautiful and the park is kept really clean. Again for beginners or people just wanting to practice this course is amazing. If your more experienced then this course won't challenge you but still a lot of fun to play.

Pros: Good signage, logical progression from one hole to the next, grounds are very well-kept throughout the year, central location and short length make it great for squeezing in a round in less than an hour, little-to-no chance of losing a disc, bathroom and water fountain facilities.
Cons: busy road borders a third of the fairways, 10 forces you to throw over a parking lot usually filled with cars, short length and wide-open terrain won't challenge many experienced players, one of the city's main walking trails runs through entire course, often right across a fairway.
Other Thoughts: Course gets an "Average" score simply from a pure disc golf perspective, there are other factors that are often considered beyond that. I really enjoy playing this course because its length and entry-level difficulty make it a great introduction to the sport for friends/family who may not have play regularly. My dad, sisters, and wife will gladly accompany me to Riverside when I know they'd be frustrated with more technical courses. Watch out for runners, joggers or kids every time you step onto the tee! They're oblivious to the course and don't think twice about sneaking up behind you as you drive. Traffic on the course and on the bordering street is irritating only on the busiest days but is bearable otherwise. What it lacks as a pure test of disc golf skill is made up for in the atmosphere and ease of access when those factors are important.
