Cons: -Seasonal (mountains in colorado you're gonna get some snow)
-some of the holes are down the side of a ski run and if you over shoot the hole you can get stuck in some really thick wooded areas.

Other Thoughts: Overall I liked the course. It's a workout to play on its lots of hiking up and down. Most of the holes are on ski slopes so the elevation changes dramatically. Its a fun place to visit and if you're there I would stop by the course and play but I wouldn't really recommend going out of your way to play their
Pros: fun course, challenging
Cons: Basket numbers dont match up. course can be confusing.
Other Thoughts: Considering Adventure Ridge has a full time paid staff you would think they would have put some time and effort into setting up the course. similar to Beaver Creek. Still a great course though.

Pros: *Scenery is awesome
thats about it
thats about it
Cons: *Horrible tee pads-dirt or wierd rubbery pads
*Hard to navigate for 1st timers, maps arent that accurate
*Signs are bad, no distance, pin position
*Portable baskets(discatchers I believe)
*Terrain hasn't been cleared or anything(no fairways)

Other Thoughts: I don't think scenery makes a disc course good. Of course the gondola ride and the views were amazing, but I don't feel that it plays into how good the course is. If this was in the Midwest nobody would play it.

Pros: Scenery! This course is at the top of a mountain, (elevation approx 10,000-10,500 feet). Accordingly, many of the shots involve significant elevation changes, though nothing as drastic as hole #1 at Conifer Park.
There is a decent amount of variety from hole to hole. Some blind shots. Trees come into play on several holes as well.

Cons: Teepads are terrible. Some sort of slippery rubber placed on top of uneven earth is far from ideal. These make it tough to put much momentum into tee shots, as I was more worried about slipping (some pads were damp) or rolling an ankle. One or two tee pads were facing the wrong direction.
Signs were hard to find as well. You will definitely need a map, though the map posted at this site is inaccurate for some of the back 9. Signs are a short stump in the ground (see picture)

Other Thoughts: Aside from the tee pads, this course was a blast to play. The elevation changes from hole to hole make for tough walking for those out of shape.
Adventure ridge is an area full of hiking and biking trails, so there are times when we had to wait for others to pass.
The views alone make this course a "must play" if you are in the area. Scenery here is far superior to the course in Frisco and in Conifer

Pros: This course has some great views! I mean you are on top of a mountain, so what else would expect.
Thin air gives good distance. Very unique and fun set up.
The views, the fresh air, playing on a mountain!!!

Cons: The fact that its seasonal and you have to ride the gondola up kind of suck, but that doesn't take away from the course itself. It is a pretty tough course. There are lots of steep terrain, but I wouldn't say it is dangerous in anyway.
Other Thoughts: I really enjoyed this course, but I played a heck of a bad game here!! Dont let any of the negative aspects scare you away, its one you will talk about for a long time!

Pros: Truly a great mountain course. A lot of up and down and side hill shots. There are some holes that are absolute downhill blasts on some of the ski runs. Views are absolutely breath-taking.
Cons: The course is on the ski hill at Vail so obviously, it's a seasonal course. Tee pads are temporary for the disc season and therefore, not overly done, even for a natural pad.
Other Thoughts: Ride the gondola up, enjoy a burger and a beer at the top restaurant, and enjoy all that the rockies have to offer.

Pros: The views are breath taking. Coming from not much above see level, this was a great experience. Playing disc golf on the side of a mountain. Very challenging, and of course huge elevation changes. I was afraid of falling on one of the hills because if I fell I would not stop rolling for a mile. Amazing course. Amazing ride ot the top of the mountain.
Cons: Death should never be an issue on a disc golf course. :)
Other Thoughts: If you are not used to the elevation, you may want to get used to it for a day before pushing yourself through this course. Most importantly, your disc's will not fly the same up here as they do in...say...Illinois. The thin air makes a beginner out of anyone. Discs that I throw left were going right. My forearm throws are never as good as my backhand except up there. It's all new. :)
