| Round Notes: Gordy Games - Super Class. Played the entire round with a DX Zephyr. On card with Matt (58), Nick (58). This was a lot of fun and could see doing this more. The Zephyr is dead straight, so learned how to throw it better mid-round. Putting with this thing is comical - hit some good putts, but the two 5s on the card were from putting. Nate won with a 46. Round Notes: 2013 US Masters. 4th round. Advanced Masters. Played with John (60), Ted (57) and Jim (62). While my score was worse than Round 1, I was throwing much better than that round. Minimizing the bag worked - had to make less decisions and was working overall. Also went back to a form I have been working on - whipping the disc through. Was throwing flat with much more juice and snap. Putting was very solid - many birdie opportunities, but was on the circle's edge for most - made about half of them. I will take making about 5 to 6 30~ footers. Was crushing the Boss most of the round, worked the Leopard and Classic Roc often too. Started raining on 11 and grip locked my drive - double bogey. A couple of other bogies on the day, but threw and closed strong. Round rated 918. Finished 41st of 66 players in the division. Not my goal of top half - lost that all on Rock Creek - but a real fun time. |

Round Notes: 2013 US Masters. Round 3. Advanced Masters. On card with Chad (72), Mike (73) and Fred (64). Whew - this round was a mess. Cloudy and clear early on, but wasn't getting my distance on the open early holes. Too much releasing with extreme hyzer, poor disc decisions throughout the round and putting was suspect - 3-putt to start the round. On hole 11, the sky opened and downpour for over an hour - from 11 through 16. Had to constantly wait on the card in front of us. Back here with the wet, I was being way too conservative - wasn't fully releasing and just couldn't get a good grip. Garland did a great job keeping everything dry, but I was pretty messy in the back. This was really the round that I needed to get - ended up falling back to 36th (out of 66). Round rated at 899, but really felt like a low 800 round. After the round, Garland and I went through the bag and got rid off all the overlap. |

| Round Notes: 2013 US Masters. Advanced Masters. Round 2. Started on #8. On card with Tony (53), Merritt (58), David (55). Another round of unimpressiveness. Poor drives - nothing felt smooth coming out. Was playing very tentatively, but putting was solid - just missed a bird option on 16, but hit everything in the circle, otherwise - and a couple outside. Blow-up on 11 - early in the round, but immediately recovered - whew. Worked the thumber a bit more - better success. Haywood caddying and Pat jumping in midround to follow was a big help. I was pretty mental this round, so good for the mental balance. 909 rated. Felt awful, but hung around par and pretty much where I expected to be - 1 stroke out of cash - tons of scores bunched up. | (+1) | |||||

| Round Notes: 2013 US Masters. Advanced Masters. Round 1. Started on #9. On card with Tony (56), Chris (63) and couldn't recall the fourth. Haywood caddying - first time having a caddy. Holy cow, this might be the most unimpressive par round ever. I was getting zero distance most of the round, but making good up shots and hit everything in the circle. Got a little ugly mid round, but got back into a groove late round to finish ok. Nothing impressive. Finished 29th out of 70. Middle of the pack, but scores are bunched up. | (-1) | |||||
