Put me down for one of these:

I've got a work trip to Lithuania in November, where disc golf is apparently not a thing. I was hoping that I might be able to work in a side trip to Järva before it dies, but it looks...
I've got an old, 4-drawer file cabinet that has been completely empty for years. I just realized that it's the perfect size for discs. I bought some 3" corrugated drain pipe and cut it into 8 sections, each the length of a drawer. I put 2 sections in each drawer and the discs nest well within...
For me personally, I used to crash in the 2nd round. My problem was that I would overeat at lunch and then have a sluggish feeling in the afternoon. So I now just eat a minimal amount between rounds to get me by and eliminate the mental distraction of feeling hungry. Same thing goes before the...
Done it. It's awesome! I use shredded pork in place of ground beef. Occasionally I'll add a little chipotle bbq sauce to ramp up the flavor even more.

My advice to you would be to take him/her with you as often as you can in order to get them acclimated to the situation and teach them boundaries.
My dog showed up at my house when he was about 8 weeks old, about a month or two after I first started playing DG. I took him with me every time I...
A buddy of mine played his first PDGA sanctioned tournament over the weekend. His first round was rated 1007. :gross: Has anyone ever heard of or experienced anything like this before?
The 2nd round was at a different course (much more challenging and one that he had never played before) and...
My original reply to this thread is almost 6 years old now, so I thought I'd just go ahead and drop in another pic from this past weekend. This is Oscar with me right before our final round at the Jefferson City Open. (I've also posted a few more to my IG.) There's no better way to spend a...

Fun and challenging for all levels
+ Good course in a really nice, multi-use city park. For the most part, the other activities don't interfere with disc golf, and vice versa.
+ Well maintained
+ Offers a wide variety of shots and options
+ Hole 1 in either pin placement is a reachable...

Fun, technical course
+ Tight, technical course that rewards shot selection and shot shaping.
+ I expected the brush and undergrowth to be much worse than it actually was. The course was in outstanding condition when I played it leading up to and during the Mid America Open.
+ Signs were great...

Outstanding with potential to get even better
+ A true destination course.
+ Subtle details make a huge difference in this course. Shorter holes are challenging and require execution. The longer hole require strategy and execution, choosing a landing zone and hitting it.
+ The longer holes...
Every time I get paired with Boomer and his screaming neck tattoo, it ties the previous record.
He's an absolute treat that I'm sure the entire mid-Missouri disc golf community is familiar with.
The circumference of a 10m circle is 103 feet.
With 200 people all evenly spaced, each person would have about 6 inches to work with.
(Insert sexual innuendo here.)
Losing discs is inevitable.
I've come to accept that if I leave the course without a disc, it's gone and I don't expect to get it back.
If I do, it's a bonus.
Yeah, I wouldn't say that there was much difference, if any, in the playing conditions during either round.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone that was there that thought otherwise.
Although, it was almost dark by the time we finally finished round 2.
I also went through the same...
