Rating this course on potential. There were open and wooded holes. Don,t have a lot of good to say based on my partial round.
SIGNAGE PLEASE!!!!!
Why is there not any signs to direct you around? Makes for a frustrating first time out. No tee boxes with some sort of map to tell you if the pin is...

A course with length, something this area needs.
Nice large tee pads.
Uses lots of shots to air it out or land a placement shot
Walk out signs help with direction
Garbage cans on holes 1, 5, 12, & 17
Bathrooms at hole 1 & near holes 10/11
No tee signs yet
Need to get some bark chips laid down...

Just a great course to challenge yourself. Having to attack this course with multiple shot types. Secondary basket locations to add change to the course. A lot more elevation then what there appears to be on video.
Only thing I didn't like was that a couple of fairways crossed
Had an absolute...

Surprised at how much elevation this course has. You'd think beach = flat, but almost ever hole had 25+' of elevation change. Uphill, downhill, across hill shots.
For the first timer a couple baskets are hidden & takes a second to find them. Trail on 6 needs cleaned up. Basket area on 9 is...

Really like the layout and the use of the natural obstacles. Uphill, downhill, lefts, rights it has every shot in the book. It was dry when I played but there is water that comes into play on 4, 5, 6, & 8. Nice and clean grounds. Concrete tee pads. And the Ace Pole is a great touch!!
No water...

Nice layout with holes that keep your attention. A few short holes, a few long, and lots of in between. Really liked playing this course!
Went back and the old 19 were back! Still really liking this course!!
A few fairways are close and play against each other. So watch out for fellow...
Got hit right in the face. Right where your lips and cheek meet. Had just played 17 and was walking back toward 18 teepad. Was about 160'-180' from 17 tee pad, way off to the right and that's when it happened. Luckily the guy didn't have the arm strength to do any damage. Walked away with...

Enough trees to make you have to work your shots. Left-to-right and right-to-left. Fun course that I enjoyed even in the rain. Place your shots and your good. Stray shots can lead to extra shots. Would have giving it a 3.5 if the tee signs were better/complete.
Tee signs, really the lack of...
Maybe I'm bias. But I gotta go w/ PDX!! Portland has more brewers and strip clubs,(wink), per capita in the USA. ( I believe that number still holds true) And we have a ton of good DG courses!!
My second place this SD, CA.
There are a lot of beers from that area I like so I would love to put...
We have 80+ courses in Oregon each would get $2000 to improve these courses. ($200,000)
Then I'd build/renovate 2 of these into top shelf tourney worthy courses. Including spectator seating areas. Have a very generous payout. Spend about $500,00 on this.
And use the remaining $300,000 to...
