It's actually the opposite. The years Nathan won he would have won in this format with his scores. In past years players got infinite strokes; they didn't play early rounds so had no chance of missing the Semis or quarters. Also for fan experience, not seeing the top pros for 2 days limited the...
We pulled like 5 baskets and 6 tees but have plans after the Tour championship to add some fun holes to make 18 while construction does its thing. Then there will be a redesign to final layout. It all takes volunteers.
I don't know. 1. I had more courses than that, are extinct listed? 2. I have no idea how to view my courses played. The only place I can find is the scroll bar and it says "played" yesterday I got 1 course that I played yesterday. Ballantyne temp. Today all I get is random courses. How come...
BTW. Your image is correct if the line represents the actual thickness of the line laid down by the designer or if no physical line, the thickness of the object that is the Mandatory. If the Mando object thickness is that of your dot, your drawing is incorrect.
As with many of the sketches on here your drawing doesn't show what you are asking. The thickness of a designed line is the plane. If it is a tree with no other marking that is the thickness, if it is string or paint its that thick, etc. This is important to know. Your disc spans the...
While the new rule is confusing I can see why...they have it.
1. If you have a Mando that you cannot see from the tee a group have no way to know how a disc got to its lie. It could have made the mando correctly and rolled back. In the past this would be a good Mando make. You would need a...
why would a mini with an arrow on it be a problem. If the mini says "INNOVA" down the center, you could just align the text to the fairway direction or mark a dot on a side of the mini.... Can't you draw whatever you want on a blank mini? Isn't a creative arrow a distinguishing mark?
Why...
I was told by multiple PDGA marshals this week that all were allowed except tying flagging tape. I just copied and pasted my question to them here. Perhaps some clarification is needed.
B. Placing an object as a directional aid is not allowed.
What is this rule trying to enforce. For example here are some situations.
Which of the following situations is NOT allowed.
1. Snow poles like the ones golfers use for feet alignment
2. drawing a line with your foot behind your lie...
In 2 the disc could have entered the basket on the fly or hit the pole and bounced back. It likely hit low enough that it was probably a make either way. For # 6 the putt or throw was high enough on the pole or chains that it was likely going to miss and I would say there is less chance it...
It is possible, they arent really bolted down that hard in some cases...although it is unlikely, with enough force it could wedge between cage and stand.
