Review by kmelton in course Hidden Park

2.00 star(s) Backyard Pitch and Putt A great course for kids and true novice players. All holes are under 200' except one. Most are between 90 and 150 feet. There are some shots that require shaping. It is in a neighborhood park surrounded by back yards so it can be peaceful if everyone has their dog...

Review by kmelton in course Dillon Park

4.00 star(s) Redesign The redesign of the course was a necessity. Due to flooding and the inability to keep up with the old layout, a newer less difficult layout has emerged. The pros are that the course is maintained a lot more frequently. A variety of shots are required on this layout. I use forehand...

Review by kmelton in course Sewee Outpost

3.00 star(s) Not that impressed The "clubhouse" is a gas station/convenience store that is quite convenient. Restrooms, snacks, some food, and some discs are nice. Holes 4,8, 15, and 17 are the stand out holes. #4 is fun with a wood deck tee box perched atop a 10' mound throwing to the basket on another...

Building new par 3 course in Darlington, sc

This land looks pretty cool. Because it is wooded, I think you could squeeze an all par 3 18 out of it based on the measurements I took from the map. I would love to come out and look at it maybe this Sunday afternoon. Let me know if you could meet me out there.

Building new par 3 course in Darlington, sc

Try to make it 18 holes. With 10k you could do it very easily. If your current location/park doesn't have enough room, find some better land. I live 40 min. away would be glad to give input. You would build the sport and have more visitors if you had a full 18 holes with multiple tees.
