New MACH-X baskets installed in the last 1.5 years, which were much needed. New concrete teepads were installed just last week, another excellent update. New signage as well.
Short, technical course that is great for beginners and fun for seasoned vets.

Fun Course, Once You Get the Hang of It
Good use of limited land available. 9 baskets, but 2 teepads per basket for a full 18 course. It's not just "long" and "short" versions of the same hole either--the different placement of the teepads give each "hole" it's own lines and look, with a nice...
Abbey Road in North Little Rock has a huge selection of all kinds of discs, as well. And they're not very far from Burns Park, which has two courses you can try out your new plastic on. :)

Good Course, Tricky Navigation
Shelby Farms Park is a big, beautiful park; the course plays out over an expanse of lovely rolling (presumably) former pasture land.
Plenty of long-ish holes, a good place to really open up on your drives. Also a few more technical shots.
The fairways are well...

I never thought about this before, but the wording of this rule seems to indicate that at the cost of a penalty stroke, you could take your disc out of the woods and place it right in the middle of the fairway, as long as the spot was "no closer to the target" than you were while in the woods...
Really enjoying watching this tournament, mainly just to drool over that gorgeous course! Seriously beautiful views. And of course CCDG is always the most informative, insightful commentary. Keep it up!
In the Z pack, for dupes, I got 2 Buzzzes, 2 Nukes, and 2 Predators. (I can always use an extra buzzz, and I wanted a nuke. Not too fond of the predators so far, though.) I also got an Avenger SS, a Zombee (which I LOVE so far), a Glide and a Heat.
I was hoping it would be a bit more varied...
