Singles, two rounds with lunch between rounds.

Last year we did it big, this year will be a bit more chill. We plan on alternating between a simple tournament and a larger event each year. We will still have tons of CTPs, free coffee and drinks, and free lunch.

The Ice Bowl(R) is a series of disc golf events that are held each year in January and February with an overall mission of raising funds to fight hunger and raise funds for various charities. Since 2011 the Forsyth County Ice Bowl has raised $3,600+ and 900+ lbs of food. These donations have helped local residents in the Northwestern NC area through our partners at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina in Winston Salem, NC.

The 32nd Annual Forsyth County Ice Bowl will be played on February 24th, 2019, when we hope to draw the support of over 90 players and sponsors. Our goal this year is to raise $2,500, which would break our single-year record of $1380 set in 2018. The largest percentage of our donations last year came from the 75+ participants. Other funding was from disc golfers who collected donations from friends and family, from the sale of licensed Ice Bowl merchandise, the sale of mulligans, closest-to-the-pin contests, and corporate sponsorships. To help us reach our goal this year, the WSDGC is renewing its efforts to engage the Triad Area business community. Please check out the sponsorship options to see how you can help us reach our ambitious goal and provide support for those in need.
