Highlights from last years event

This tournament filled six weeks in advance last year, and assuredly will fill again. Registering as soon as possible to save your spot is highly encouraged.

Like last year there will be three pools:

A Pool - All Pro divisions except Grandmasters
B Pool - Advanced and Advanced Masters
C Pool - Pro GM's, Advanced GM's, Am Women, and Intermediate

Because of the limitations with the 90 player pools they are also limiting the number of people in each division. See details here.

I think they want to help try to ensure that there are no mixed division cards.

If you're planning on coming and you see the number of players registered in your desired division approaching that number, you'll probably want to get registered ASAP before it fills.

If your desired division has filled, you have other options.

1. Play in a division that is still open.
2. Play for a last chance qualifier spot on Friday. These are being offered in the Open, Pro Masters, Advanced, Advanced Masters, & Intermediate divisions. Initial cost is $20 and will be applied towards your entry fee should you win. You may play as many times as you want. Subsequent rounds are $10/each.
3. Win one of the spots being auctioned. These will be in the Open, Advanced, Advanced Masters, and Intermediate divisions. These auctions will start on April 1st. Highest bidders get the spots.
4. Play in the GBOverflow C-tier being held at Emporia Middle School on Saturday. This will be a three round, 13 hole per round event. You will get PDGA ratings for these rounds. Participants in this tourney will get the same GBO players pack including access to the player's party and ability to be in the Sunday afternoon Final 9 skins match.
