Does benefit of the doubt come into play when no players on a card make a call?

If the players stopped throwing 500+ feet you might have a point.
But they do, and will continue to throw farther as times progresses. How are they supposed to be making calls on play where the disc can barely be seen? If they can't see, the spotters have no actual authority, and replay cannot be used, then you might as well roll the dice. Or simply limit the situations this can even come up by removing non-obvious OB situations. The throw in question here was in the 275'-300' range I believe. And still no one could see it. But that is what happens when a disc is OB the second it leaves a player's hands.
