I would like to invite you to attend the Inaugural "Tuscaloosa Classic",
April 13-14, 2013 at Bower's and Palmore Park Courses. Complementing the event is the new Palmore Park Disc Golf course, which will feature one of the Top 10 Gold Tee setups' in the nation at (10,000'+).
Our goal is to attract some of disc golf's top professionals to the event
and in our first year with $1,500 minimum cash added purse we hope to make
it a must do event for PDGA Pro's throughout the southeast.
Disc golf has been steadily growing in Tuscaloosa over the last 7 years.
The City of Tuscaloosa's vision of making improvements to Tuscaloosa's
signature course at Bower's Park, (one of the state's most challenging courses) and the new course at Palmore Park followed this spring by third course adjacent to Ol' Colony Municipal Golf Complex will showcase the city as a regional disc golf destination.
The tournament format includes three rounds of 18 holes for both
professional and amateur divisions. Play will start Saturday at 9:30 am at The Bower's Park Course, with two rounds, finishing at 4:30pm.
Sunday will feature the 3rd round at the new Palmore Park Course at 9:30am.
The First 3 Pro's rated 1020 or higher will be comped their entry fee
saturday morning at registration.
You can register at:

We endeavor next year to make this an "A" Tier stop and continue to develop
Tuscaloosa as a premier disc golf event venue.
