Most of you know me. My youngest son is Lucas and he is 26 years old. In mid October it was discovered that Lucas has a tumor on his left thigh. A biopsy was taken and it is an aggressive Lymphoma cancer. He is in stage two. He is able to work at this time but he is on a walker. The tumor has weakened the thigh bone and if it breaks they will have to amputate his leg. He started chemo treatments November 4th. To help Lucas with his expenses there will be a benefit Disc golf tournament at the Delaware State Park course on December first. This is not a PDGA sanctioned tournament. Cash will be paid out to all divisions. As more information becomes available I will post it on the message boards. Call me if you have any questions. Hope to see you there.
Also, There will be five bands playing that same night at a bar in Delaware called The Final Score and proceeds will go to help Lucas. You need to put in that Disc Golf Mart is supplying lunch. There will be a raffle. One of the bands playing at the Final Score will provide live music during lunch.
