Details: non-PDGA event at the Tailings DGC in Iron River, MI.
One stop on the 2013 "Disc da U.P." series.
Format TBD, but will consist of two rounds, likely one round from Red Tees, then regrouping based on standing after lunch for a finishing round on the long and potentially punishing Blue Tees.
Stick around all day and play a random doubles event afterward as time allows. Make a weekend to vacation around the U.P. and play some of the new courses opening this year (18 holes in Marquette, two 18 hole courses in Escanaba, and construction could be complete on an 18 hole course in Republic, and an expanded Silver Creek course in Harvey to 18 holes).
Great event supported by the city chamber of commerce and tourism development.
