Description: A pro level course throughout the heavily wooded Inyo National Forest with both long and short basket locations. (Short turf teepads are scheduled to be installed in Spring 2021). A very challenging course including four par 4ís and one par 5 for an overall par 60 in the long to long layout measuring 7,315 ft (2,230 meters).
Mostly flat terrain with a beautiful landscape throughout the vibrant pine forest with few holes that provide spectacular mountain views. Baskets can be seen from a majority of the teepads, even on some of the longer holes.
Installation of 18 tee-pads and 19 baskets (one per hole and one practice basket) was completed in Fall, 2019. Signage for the course has been approved by the USFS and will be installed this spring depending on weather.
A couple of important notes from Mammoth Lakes Recreation and the Forest Service: Due to COVID, if you are not from the same household, please continue to observe physical distancing as you play. It's easy to forget and crowd the tee pad areas or walk right behind someone in their "vapor trail." On windy days you should be even further than 6 feet away from someone if you are downwind of them. Also, please keep to the raked pathways as much as possible on the course. Thank you.
