Description: Cedar Grove DGC is home to Crossover Disc Golf. Josh and Cheryl Terwilleger have built a very challenging and technical course that will challenge you with tight lines and tough basket locations. The 24 hole layout has a short (green @3200 feet), intermediate (purple @4200 feet) and long (blue @5600) option on each hole.
What can you expect? You will have fun with the uniqueness and creativity of the course. You will hit trees. You will be challenged with approach shots and the scramble part of your game. Whether you are right or left handed, you will be be presented with backhand and forehand shots to make you throw straight, as well as hyzer and anhyzer shots. You will probably laugh at a few shots, and maybe want to cry (not really) on a few others. There is strict OB, islands, hazards, and a few mandos. You will find hanging baskets and baskets in trees. The OB/Islands/Mandos are there to keep people reigned in due to the course being on less than 10 acres.
The course is not a “bomber” course in any way. No one really needs any high speed drivers due to the lines given. It’s never going to be on the Pro Tour, but it will be a course you’ll want to play again. Pound for pound, it’s tough to beat this “short” course for what it offers. Cedar Grove has regulars that are 1000 rated, as well as novice players.
The course has 4x10 concrete pads for most holes, quality Dynamic/Latitude baskets that are sanctioned up to PDGA B-tier, and excellent signage. Everything you’d want from a quality course. Cedar Grove has a pond that’s in play, and elevation change, as well as fairways/greens that have some slope to them.
There is a gravel lot up by the garage area for parking. There is an optional donation box on the garage, next to a small kiosk of the course. All monies collected go back to the course. Again, this is optional and there is no pressure to put money in.
It’s the most “Brutiful Course” you’ll play!
