Description: There’s a mix of palms, coconut, and evergreen trees with some moderate elevation changes. There are also ocean views and one “green” is on a beach. The terrain is a mix of red volcanic soil and sand, so bring a towel with you. There are also many old bunkers and structures dating from World War II.

NOTE: There aren’t any permanent tees or baskets here. They aren’t even allowed to mark tee or basket areas, so the local players carry a portable basket from hole to hole. There are 2 standard courses but the local players need to set up each hole; it’s impossible to play without them. This is unique to the constraints of O'ahu, but this is still considered a permanent course. The Sand Island Beach Park group meets on Wednesday afternoons at 4PM at the U turn inside of the beach park. For HDGA tournaments they meet at the big watchtower.
