An overgrown mess. Park staff should be embarrassed by the lack it's upkeep.

Tight heavily wooded course on mostly flat terrain in a former rustic campground. Front 9 short - back 9 a bit more challenging. In National Forest Recreation Area (need parking permit - $5/vehicle day permits available on site).

From M-55 west of Wellston, turn north onto Horseshoe Bend Rd. (dirt). Follow the road for about 2.5 miles until it ends at the course parking lot.

Park at the kiosk, then walk back up the road past the pit toilet to find the long tee for hole #1 (near the self pay station). Short tee is next to the pit toilet.
