Update

Course in good shape. Still no tee boxes, but flags were there to mark tee locations. Ground was frozen solid but not slick at all.

9 practice baskets with no set tees, ideal for making up your own safari layout. The baskets are nicely spread about the area and there are mild elevation changes and water hazards to play with.

Hopefully awareness of this activity in the park will rise and a permanent course will be installed. Show your support and get in touch with parks and rec.

Local Directions:

From Winchester
Take Route 7 east towards Leesburg. Take the Route 7 Business ramp towards Round Hill/Purcellville. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Drive .7 miles and turn right on Franklin Park Drive.

From Leesburg
Take Route 7 west towards Winchester. Exit on the Route 7 Business ramp (approx. 20 miles west of Leesburg) towards Round Hill/Purcellville. Turn left at bottom of ramp on to business Route 7 at the bottom of the ramp. Drive .7 miles and turn right on Franklin Park Drive.
