Old river bottom course in the middle of some cotton woods. Lots of sand and deadfall. Put in by Boy Scouts and taken over by the city's Parks and Rec. Department. Raparian area designated low impact.

Non-smoking course due to heavy amount of brush and deadfall.

Port-a-potty at parking lot along with 2 trash cans. Log-style benches on some holes.

There are some shrubs and bushes protected by chicken wire enclosures. Please keep out of these and treat them as O.B.

Take State Ave. north out of Alamosa past the ball golf course to the T junction. Turn left at the stop sign to continue on North River Road. In .4 miles turn left on dirt road (disc golf sign on tree). Continue another .5 miles to the parking lot at end of road.
