Description: Nestled below the highest peaks east of the Mississippi in the quaint mountains of western NC sits Simple Pleasures Farm. We are a family operated and owned beef cattle and berry farm.
Alongside the raspberries, strawberries, horses and cattle the finalized 21 hole course offers several sidehill shots alongside fairly steep hillsides and multiple lines through thick hardwood and pine forests. There are open connecting holes to different properties of the course, 1 of which with a pond in play just waiting to claim discs, OB in play on 16 of the 21 holes, island shots, plenty of elevation change for some drastic rollers and a BOOMing surprise on the final tee shot.
Homemade baskets mainly all being on the front 9. DGA Mach 5 on the back. Tee boxes are mixed lengths but all in all they average out at 10'x4' and most are carpeted to give a soft, grippy surface. Some are gravel, some are asphalt. Hopefully 2021-2022 will bring more updated tees in several locations.
