In a valley with a creek that runs through the middle of the course and thus is a possible risk for every hole. The course is set in Lola Vallery Park, which is outlined by houses.
Elevation drops on multiple holes, water via the creek on all holes, and a significant headwind on holes 4 and 5 play a factor.
Additional water hazards form as large ponds in the fairways in spring and fall or with heavy rainfall. Most tee's are natural (grass), but there is a concrete pad on hole 4. Overall course does favor RHBH.
