The park is undergoing significant redevelopment involving water detention areas and drainage features. It is unclear as of January 2023 as to the fate of the disc golf course. Update 1/4/2023: The city of Deer Park intends to reopen the park and disc golf course in summer of 2023.

Local Directions: From 225-E- Exit Sam Houston Toll Way southbound and take the second exit for Red Bluff Rd and turn left on Red Bluff Rd. After a mile and a quarter turn left onto Bayou Bend Dr. then take the first left onto Wisdom Dr. Take a right onto Kalwick Dr and the course and Recreation Center will be on your right. The first tee is near the southeast corner of the parking lot.
