Description: Located on Sheppard Air Force Base, this course is built on a closed ball golf course. You will need a base pass to access the course.
Two pin placements per hole and a creek winding through it that comes into play on many of the holes. Pin placements are rotated the first week of every month. While relatively open, there are enough trees, rough, water, mandos, OBs and elevation changes to make this a fun and challenging course. As with most North Texas courses this course tends to be windy on most days.
Please remember fire arms and drugs are not permitted on federal installations.

Local Directions: Mon-Fri (6am-4:30pm) go to the Visitor Control Center (Missile Rd gate):
From north (OKC) take I-44S to exit 5A. Take a left onto Missile Road and follow it to the gate.
From south (Dallas) take I-44N Hwy 287 north to exit 3A. 3A merges into Hwy 325. Stay on 325 until you hit Burkburnett Road, then turn left at the light. Follow Burkburnett Road until you reach Missile Road, then turn right. You will be at the gate.
Once at the gate stop at the Visitor Center if you need a base pass.
After entering the base turn right onto Avenue D. Take Avenue D to 1st Ave then turn left. Follow 1st Ave for .5 miles until you see Wind Creek Park on the right (will look like a golf course). Park anywhere in the parking lot. Go behind the club house building and cross the walking bridge into the park. You'll see two practice baskets on the right. Hole 1 starts just after the second practice basket.

Weekends, Holidays, and any day after 6pm go to the Main gate:
From north (OKC) take I-44S to exit 5A. Road leads straight to the Main gate.
From south (Dallas) take I-44N Hwy 287 north to exit 3A. 3A merges into Hwy 325. Stay on 325 until you hit Burkburnett Road intersection. Go straight through the light, the Main gate is straight ahead.
Once at the Main gate Park in the lot on right side of the road just before you get to the gate. Walk to the guard shack and request a day pass for disc golf.
After entering the base turn right at the stop light onto 1st Ave. Follow 1st Ave for .5 miles until you see Wind Creek Park on the right (will look like a golf course). Park anywhere in the parking lot. Go behind the club house building and cross the walking bridge into the park. You'll see two practice baskets on the right. Hole 1 starts just after the second practice basket.
