From: May 25th – Jul 13th
Day(s): Wed.
Time: 3:00 PM
Details:
Mid-Summer League (8 Weeks)
All players & skill levels welcome.
Staggered start time from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
$5 - Weekly League Fee (Ace Pot & 50/50 included!)
Cash League: Only your first 6 rounds are used for each 8 week league. Consider them each a six round tournament. Payout will be at the GEAC, the Yetter, and a September event. Must be present to receive your prize, make prior arrangements, or pick up at the next subsequent BCDGA event.
Divisions: Divisions will be based on your prior scores from previous leagues. Some people will be right between two divisions, then they must choose which of those two division they want to be a part of. For people with no prior league scores we will work together to determine the division.
Layout: The pin placement will stay the same for four consecutive weeks and then change to a new configuration. For the first two weeks you will play the short tee pads for the first nine holes and the long tee pads for the last nine holes. For the second two weeks play the opposite. Each layout will be a par of 59/60.
Make up: If you miss a week's round you can make up that round during any subsequent week by playing two rounds on the same day.
Rules: All PDGA rules are in effect unless otherwise stated to accommodate staggered starting weekly leagues. This includes the 2 point penalty for an incorrect final score on your scorecard, OBs, mandatories, etc.
Group Size: Groups will start play with 3 or 4 players. Groups of 2 will only be allowed with the permission of the TD.
Starting Early: If you already know the proper layout, all the baskets are in the correct positions, and you have a group then you may start as early as 1pm and pay when you finish.
Starting Late: If you need to start late then you can contact the TD and request for him to wait for you.
Inclement Weather: In the event of any lightning or thunder, all play will be suspended immediately. Play can resume after 30 minutes of no lightning or thunder. If because of lightning, your card of players can not finish your rounds then that week's scores will not be counted. Your cost for that week will be carried over to the following week you play. For those who can finish safely on such a day, their rounds count.
Contact Brian Bochantin in the park on Wednesdays to sign up or for more info.
