Description: A short, beginner level course. Holes 1-5 play near the Mill Pond area; holes 6-8 are near Williams Gymnasium; hole 9 is up a hill over a walking path (at least a 500 ft walk from basket 8). Tee signs are small green, mostly damaged squares set about 10 feet or so in front of the tee stakes. Holes 6 thru 8 have numbered rocks beside the tee stakes.
Navigating the course: Holes 1-5 are in a section near the mill pond. Holes 6-8 are in a section near the Williams Physical Education Center; the holes are between Hickory Nut Gap Rd and the Williams Center. To get there go a short distance back out Mill Pond Rd, then turn RIGHT on Hickory Nut Gap Rd. The Williams Center will be on the left and tee 6 is close to the building at the edge of the parking lot. Hole 9 is in still another place, off by itself. From basket 8 walk back ~220ft toward tee 6 and you will see a sign on a tree. Cross the street to your left and wind your way up the hill. Look for a staircase going down the other side of this hill. Hole 9 throws over this staircase and the fairway is a gravel walking path. Make sure to watch out for people on the path!
