Description: This is the first of 2 planned 9 hole courses at Palo Duro Lake. This first 9 is on the downstream side of the dam with huge, old growth trees, plenty of camping, full hook-ups for campers, clean restrooms, and a kids fishing pond.
This is a "Championship Level" 9 hole course, with a surprising amount of length and unique holes that will be a challenge for players of all skill levels.
The teepads are currently dirt, marked with painted 2x4s on the ground. Each hole has 2 teepads, longs are white, shorts are orange. A laminated course map is posted on the pay booth, which requires $3/day to use the area, including camping.
A second 9 hole course is planned to be installed later this year (2018). It will be by the Lake Headquarters on the South side of the dam.
Be sure to stop at the pay booth towards the bottom of the hill. Day rates are $3/day.

Local Directions: 16 miles North of Spearman. Leave Spearman headed NE on TX-15 E, drive 4.5 miles, then turn left on co rd 28. Drive 6.9 miles, then continue straight another 2.3 miles on Farm Rd 3214. The turnoff for the course will be on your right, just before crossing the dam.
Hole #1 starts just south of the restroom building.
